Otumuheke Stream (Spa Park Hot Pools)
Beautiful stop for a dip in the hotpool or a picnic , excellent place to go for a walk or bike ride. Low-Medium walking track, slopes and gravel. There is a shack to buy a shake coffee or nibble and public toilets available at the stream.

Beautiful! Nice short walk to the pools, great spots to sit and lovely water. There are warm and cooler ponds. Be sure to check them all out

Perfect view and warm thermal park. Might be cold if you got up from the pool in winter.

Nice place, kids loved it. We stayed in there for 2 hours, i think it could get quite busy though but we came early and it was fine. Toilets at car park and by the spring. The closer you go to the Waikato river, the colder it gets. Great day out. Plenty of tourists popping their hands in the water and asking if it is warm.

Nice scenic spot. Warm thermal pools of different temperatures in a stream by the side of the Waikato River. Free of charge is a bonus. Bit stoney in and around the water so you might consider sandals or reef shoes. Few minutes walk down from the carpark, note quite a big hill to walk back up to the carpark. Changing rooms and toilets down near the water.

Beautiful spot. Changing room, toilet handy. Café right there. Bit of a walk from car park. Hot stream wasn’t very hot the days I went, but compared to the temperature of the river it was very nice.

What a wonderful place to go. Just been for a swim in the hot pools, very nice and so relaxing. Can't wait to come in January and do it again.

Very cool place, but water was pretty cold when we were there. Couldn’t even tell it was heated, just felt like normal cold river water. Definitely not the place for a soak when we were there. Not sure if you have to time it with heavy rains or time of year or something? But, if you can go and it is warm, amazing that it’s free!!

Sadly the river is very low right now, and the water isn’t super warm either right now.Other wise it’s an awesome free hot pools, there’s change rooms, a water bottle refill station, and a little cafe! A big hilly park around it with lots of space for picnics, sports, a disc golf course, kids play ground.The river is absolutely beautiful! Crystal clear water. Would be great for cooling down in after or on a hot day!Normally the river is very busy, but no one else was here
