Tasman Holiday Parks - Papamoa Beach

Totally incompetent booking staff.Back in December 20th 2022 two bookings were made for two separate dates - both to be on same sites.The first booking they got correct but second date was anything but right.We arrived at park to check in and found we were in a totally different area in park that was originally booked.We had no option to go to another site - on arriving at this site - found it to be occupied as the guests had paid extra money to stay on till 5.00pm.We then had to park up until 5.00pm before we could set up camp.This kind of administration at reception is not good.No body took ownership of the problem.I would like to hear back from Management on this.MP

Absolutely Spotless bathrooms and sites, playground and all facilities. cleaners were at them all day !Wonderful Staff accommodating and friendly. I booked for 3 nights and had a medical emergency on the morning of the 3rd day and had to leave by ambulance. When my wife handed back the keys a day earlier than expected she was immediately given a refund for the last day without question. We didn't expect one nor ask for one however the lovely lady in reception insisted a refund. What a wonderful place, we will be returning again soon, we have 2 kids under 3 a dog and a cat and they all thoroughly enjoyed it.Thank you so much for the experience learning the routes in our new campervan.

We stayed in our Motorhome but could see all they have, great kitchen and dinning area, clean toilets and showers. Carts for kids and a bouncy cushion. Right on beach front and shops near by. Also a restaurant by camp, great place and friendly staff.

This was my first time staying at Tasman holiday park and I definitely wasn’t left disappointed. Clean showers and bathroom, nice kitchen facilities (There were two kitchen areas) and friendly staff. They have a jumping pillow, beach volleyball and a mini tennis court. You can get the rackets and balls free of charge at reception which was excellent.The park is in a great location right next to the beach and about 15 min walk to countdown and Pak n Save.Only downside was they didn’t have a tv/movie room setup, which could of been handy to have if you wanted to chill out somewhere.

Really nice pitch, under the trees. Ground soft enough to push tent pegs in with our feet! Good toilet and shower facilities but the kitchen needs updating. The main attraction for the site is its proximity to the beach but, when the weather is bad, there is nothing else to do. Could do with a games room.

I AM NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN !!! Its was to late when I arrived to look for somewhere else. $50 a night for 1 person on a unpowered site next to a busy road.Wifi is so slow its unusable, the kitchen and toilet facilities are very dated and there is not even any dish washing liquid. Just absolutely gutted with Australian owned camp ground. Most kiwi owned camp grounds are less then half the cost. DO NOT support this over priced camp ground.

Great spot. We just needed one night and they had what we were looking for. Clean cabin and great facilities. We will stay here again!

Did not need service,our choice.Lovely villa,beach front with viewsStaff at entrance,all were very helpful and busy.If using Spa ,you do have to book and pay for ,great area for those camping, plenty of space for large tents or small.Code to get in with car.Plenty of takeaways and great bakery across the road.Local Restaurant was good .Family place to eat across the road near z petrol (which was the cheapest anywhere ,including Auckland ,wait for their special day.We felt very safe and secure as it looked so did others.

We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and bedding was provided. Obviously no plumbing, but shared facilities were close. The bed was comfortable and the curtains were very good blocking all light. My children enjoyed the playground with its Jumping Pillow. Would stay again

Me and my husband and daughter stayed in the villas on the beach side, we were only up for a funeral (mid January 2023) and couldn't find airbnb accommodation so we decided to book here. We enjoyed the stay. Clean and tidy, our villa had a kitchen with all the utensils needed, air con was amazing, laundromat facilities were next to us, wifi was excellent and the beach was a hop and skip from our deck. Loved the Hot Dog man that turned up after 4pm. I even received texts from when he was going to be there. Easy check in. Amazing friendly staff at the reception. We even ordered easy delivery from Dixie Browns and it was an easy pick up from the reception parking lot. We loved our stay there. The beds was comfortable and we had amazing sleep here. Easy to find rubbish sorting as well. The map they gave us was really useful. Shopping malls down the road and supermarkets. Loved it and thank you guys so much for an amazing experience.
