Used Taranaki Recloations to move from South Taranaki all the way up to Kaitaia. They were absolutely fabulous. Super friendly, efficient and flexible with lockdowns happening around our move. A really great price for moving such a huge distance. I cannot recommend them highly enough. So very happy.

We only had a small amount of stuff, but it was the precious bits and pieces after selling our family home and moving my 90 year old mother into our home. It was a stressful time as I couldn't confirm our moving date until the last minute. The team were very flexible and took a large weight off my shoulders. The moving guys were excellent - professional, caring with a great sense of humour. They even went out of their way to protect our flowering cherry trees, by carrying our furniture down the drive rather than back their truck down to the door. Such thought and care went a long way with us. Thank you all and I heartily recommend your company.

We highly recommend this company. From our first phone call with Gerry, to Dave coming our to my mothers house to give us a quote, to the delivery with BJ and Tim, the service was outstanding. Friendly, efficient, reliable, great communication at all times. And they were wonderful with my elderly Mum having to move from her home, and her hometown, they worked with care and understanding. We had to move a whole law firm from the 5th floor of a difficult building accesswise to a ground level building with easy access. With good planning initiated by Taranaki Relocations (TR) we did the move in 2 stages a week apart. We first moved all our paper records which was a massive move in itself. This was accomplished with 4 guys working over 3 days. The second part of the move was also a big undertaking and project manager, Simon, was able to call on extra guys to get the job completed ahead of schedule. TR supplied hundreds of boxes and then more. They dropped them off as we needed them with tape and stickers so we had a methodical system to unpack. TR went out of their way to make the move a happy experience for us and they worked their butts off. This is the third time I have used TR - the previous times for house moves and I can't rate them highly enough. They treated our goods as if they were their own and have had no mishaps over all these jobs. They removed the boxes as needed and even took away some rubbish we had accumulated. The bill was exactly as per the quotation and every request made was answered with a yes and a smile. Thanks, guys.

Taranaki Relocations review BEWARE!This company packed and moved my home.When I got to the new house I realized that I had mainly paid for paper. They stuffed the boxes with paper so that I was charged for storage of a lot more possessions than I actually had. I had to leave it in storage at 550 a month to build a shed to fit everything. I do wonder if I would have needed it if it was boxed properly.I had 26 boxes from my garden shed, that wouldn’t even fit into it. When unboxed there were things that didn’t even need to be boxed. It broke down to 13 boxes to be restacked.Another example was a large box that was stuffed with the rubbish of the end of tapes etc with a cushion on top. A large box with about 10 cups and things from the kitchen cupboard.When I contacted the owner he said the guy that did most of it is no longer working there, as if that makes a difference. He also said he would pick up the rubbish if I wanted. That was the solution he offered, pick up the empty tape rolls that were packed and sent to me. He went on to say that there were a couple of extra boxes or things he had to store for free because they went over the area quoted.In other words nothing, go away we already have your money.Here are some boxes when I started to unpack. The spare area was where all the paper was to fill it up.So please be aware, especially when considering using the packing and storing options. Never again.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the team we had for our local move. They were awesome. Nothing was a problem and they had great attitudes which was a huge help on what is quite a stressful day. Highly recommend!
