Nice little place with good food and ideally situated, the service was hampered by a sudden breakfast rush. Don't be deterred though the food more than made up for it

We stopped into JAK's today for a coffee and snack. Cakes were good sized, reasonably priced and extremely yummy. Coffee was quite good too. Friendly and quick service topped it off. Great place really. Would love to try a burger here one day!

Comfortable little place on the main road through Coromandel. Scrumptous choc brownie, but Chai and coffee was fairly ordinary (Chai was syrup only).

13/01/2023 - 1300pm.Left standing at the counter while people just ignored us, was just about to walk out when we were served. Coffee was Luke warm and the waitress had a real sour look on her face and didn't engage or smile at all. We were also just having a look at the menu out of curiosity when the waitress comes over and just snatches the other menus off our table very abruptly. Worst service ive experienced in a long time and im not a complainer at all. VERY Disappointed

The burgers were delicious and the coffee was good. The servers seemed like they didnt want to be there, but did their work nevertheless. The chef was really nice to me after my order got mixed up!

Amazing food cabinet of a variety of food such as giant sausage rolls and filled bagels.Very friendly staff and quick service.Hoppy the duck kept us company

One the very best pancake stacks in NZ. There is definitely something special about the batter used. They were delicious! The other food we ordered was yummy as well. Our only disappointment was being given cherry tomatoes instead of grilled tomatoes with the big breakfast. The service we received from the lady working that day was great. She even offered us a free flat white. This place is a good place to catch a tasty bite in Coromandel.

Wouldn’t recommend for tourists. Food was alright - just like what you’d expect for a budget cafe. Staff was generally very unfriendly. They forgot our drink order, acted annoyed when they were reminded of it, and then brought out the wrong thing. Difference in friendliness by staff towards locals was very noticeable.

Went here for a snack and ordered some caramel slice. Caramel slice tasted great and was a good portion of choclate and caramel within the slice. The cafe was also in a good location and had a nice atmosphere.
