Local Doctors - Sylvia Park

Horrible.Reception staff are more than rude and unprofessional. After 2 hrs of wait on a working day, staff asked me return next day. When I tried to explain that I was for more than 2 hrs, the lady at the reception said-“ not my problem “. Every single time I visit this particular branch, it has been the same. Doctors don’t bother talking to patients. The less we talk about nurse , the better it is. If you want to waste a half day of your life, visit Local Doctors ( Sylvia park or Glen Innes branches)Pathetic. This branch needs management attention and basic customer service training needs to offered to all the staff. Hope this branch gets well soon.FYI, I had to stay from 12:30 PM- 04:00 PM in the clinic to see the doctor.

I was quite reluctant to visit after reading their reviews but visited anyways to see Dr Patel who specialises in removal of lumps....first time i went in gave name, and shortly after had a consultation and explained costs etc, went back following week for surgery, had lump removed in less than 30mins, a week later today i went in to remove stitches and left clinic within 10mins...receptionist were friendly and helpful, the nurse was friendly and the place looked clean. Happy with outcome and service recieved.

Reception & Doctors are super useless. Reception lies about doctors being fully booked, and doctors have attitudes when you manage to get seen. Nurses are the only good thing about these doctors. They actually care about the patients. Reception just sit around talking about patients and doctors like nobody can hear them.

To long the walk in wait time 5-20 minutes, the other Medical Centre in Royal Oak I used to go to you had to book ahead at least 3-5 days.Just kidding I only negative review this so less people go here and so I don't have to book ahead 2-5 days. They are the best Medical Centre I have ever used. The Meet and Great by the Medical Reception is the best, they need extra staff as they are run off their feet.Overall do not go here so I get preferential treatment. The other person who gave a negative rating needs to be locked up in a mental asylum; next time they show up here the GP needs to make sure they are referred to be locked up and given electroshock treatment because they are insane.As for the other negatives you should check what the diagnosis is and whats prescribed yourself anyway, no one is perfect even AI makes mistakes its human to err even a GP only speculates what is wrong and what is prescribed. The Chemist is the one who should be making certain the GP prescribed correctly.

Worst worst experience …..I am from waiuku and it took me 2 hours to arrive here as busy roads in the morning and I asked before coming if Dr. is available and one of the staff member said .. yes the Dr. is available from 8am to 5 pmWhen i arrived here they said on reception Dr. is not in today..the other thing.. they couldn’t find my informationOne person saying I am registered and other person saying..I am not registered..I was so frustrated and end up seeing any doctor rather than going home and come another day..We have doctors in papakura… buy I specially come here..But wouldn’t come here againI come here only for Dr. VidhiAs someone recommended me she is very nice doctor.☹️☹️☹️

This a walking in clinic and open till 5pm from the morning, yet even if you go before 11am you would not be able see a doctor. I went yesterday afternoon because the Mt.Roskill Local doctors one said that they can't have me, they asked me to come today morning. I went in the morning but they are saying doctors are having a meeting. What nonsense, my energy, money & time all wasted and I am sick too. Most of the walking clinics of Local doctors have the same issue. Really bad service.

Came in early at 8am at the clinic to see the doctor, as i know the line would be long. Since i am not registered, the lady indian receptionist asked me for all these documents, which i have provided and should only have taken like 5 minutes to register me waiting for my preferred doctor.She took almost half an hour to register me on their system, when there’s been like 5 patients that went ahead of me to see the same doctor. I already sat down, and just remembered that she hasnt returned my documents, and she actually forgot to even scan them and didnt even apologise for the whole thing.I am so disappointed with the service, as I came in early, and now i have to wait for 5 people ahead of me? And she wasn’t apologising for her slow service.

Changed from GI to here and I can tell the difference at the reception already. One of the receptionists was so friendly and helpful. Wait is still long but it's expected.Dr Mansoor is very patient and thoughtful. I was going to see a female doctor for my woman's problem but it didn't make me less comfortable with him. My husband also saw him for the second time and both times were pleasant. We will probably change our GP to him now.
