Pie OK, sandwich dry and unappetizing. Service was uninspiring the young lad seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else.

below average service, man just stood at the till and did not clear any tables. no smiles. as said tables were grubby and food was given in bags and coffee in takeaway cups when we were eating in. $6 coffee for a small size is outrageous. gets a few stars for the convenient location but that’s all. a ‘not unless you have to place’. do not recommend.

Recently returned after three months. Food standard has improved with current chef. Thanked him for our fish and eggs meal today. Salad was fantastic well flavored. Great to see improvements since our last visit.

Very slow service to order, waited at the counter for ages, tables were filthy as was the toilets. Took half hour for 2 toasties & burger, food was average. Only 2 people seated eating when we arrived. Waited 45 minutes for 2 shakes & coffee that never came, another table sat down and within 5 mins got a coffee. Asked for a refund for our drinks and the guy who served us, was confused on what we ordered. Finally got a refund in cash and he asked US to give HIM $2 change as he over refunded. We spent $52+ in the Cafe and get treated like that, won't go back.

Pies were good and service at desk too,with smile.But bathroom were durty, no paper. Dining room is old and there was the vacuum middle of the pièce at noon on sunday…So much work to do to be better.

Hunters Cafe & Motel
Great food and in a nice setting. Staff were very accommodating as we had a 3 month old in a stroller. Lovely surroundings with the cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
