The Riverhead Ferry

We booked the Riverhead Ferry to the historic Riverhead Tavern for our work Christmas party. Captain Holger was exceptionally accommodating with my questions leading up to our event; and in hosting our group of 30 staff. Zoe was super amazing-taking care of us right throughout the journey. The boat was an awesome way to get us all in the Christmas spirit-with lights and tinsel to boot. Thank you Holger & Zoe for making our Christmas party one to remember! We will be back!!

I had the best birthday party on the Riverhead Ferry! Captain Holger and his crew were amazing! 30 of us fit comfortably on the boat and they were very accommodating. The sunset time slot was absolutely stunning! Thank you so much!

My 30th birthday got cancelled as it fell on the same week we went into level 4 this was two years ago ! Holger held on to my booking and we went on the cruise had a wonderful time ! We privately booked the Riverhead Ferry up to the Riverhead Tavern on Saturday with 40 of our friends for an early Christmas get together and it was incredible — such a fun day/evening out! The indoor/outdoor flow of the boat was perfect, allowing some of us to enjoy the views and fresh air up the front, and others to dance the afternoon and night away inside by the bar. Holger and staff were so accommodating and made the trip very memorable! We left Auckland at 4.30 pm and arrived at the tavern at 6 pm. All of us were saying how we had never been to that part of Auckland before and how cool it was to experience the riverside bar. On the way home on the boat, the sun was going down, the fairy lights came on, and we cruised under the harbour bridge that had a light show! 100% recommend privately hiring the Riverhead Ferry for a party. It is epic!

I booked the Riverhead ferry for a friend’s stag do. Captain Holger and the crew were brilliant and looked after us really well with a full bar service onboard and a lovely cruise up past the north shore beaches. Can’t recommend them enough for value for money and all round service.
