Toyworld Botany

Use to be one of the best Toy Worlds around with great service however my visit this week I encountered two rude male staff members, would now not bother to return after spending a lot of money here in the past.

Always plenty of variety and with regular specials or discounts. For this reason I wouldn't buy anything at full price because sooner or later everything comes on sale sometime during each six months. The shop is a children's paradise with so much to see and want, and I'm sure great too for the adults who are Lego collectors.

The place to go for toy gifts as they have a great range here for all ages. Went in to get a Lego set and ended up buying two sets in a special Lego sale. Store can be quite packed when it's being restocked and things are hard to find but the staff there are friendly and very helpful.

VERY BAD SERVICE!!! Appalling refund policy!!! Had a faulty metal detector spoke to supplier confirmed faulty batch. Have my receipt payed cash. An no refund given even though supplier yes. Guys at counter cant give refunds an hands are tied under consumer act I should get full refund instead they are making me come back in a week after boss has tested it. So waste my time an travel from 20kms away to just come back again after I had plans to go upgrade an get a better product somewhere else !! You need to look at your policies an sort it out so your not mucking your customers around will never be back!!

Great service and many good deals. Love this toy store!! Something for everyone!

Worst experience ever - If there was minus star I would give it to this store. My 11 year old boy reduced to tears when lectured by a staff member about a non return policy after changing his mind on a toy purchase half an hour later, all the while accompanied by his elderly non speaking English grandfather. Instead of showing the kindness and compassion, Toyworld took away our child's joyful experience of shopping with his Granddad.

A male staff said this toy is not for you to play. Treated us like if you don't buy please leave. Complained but no response at all.

The worst experience you can ever have in a toy shop. If I can rate negative star I would have. Been to the shop last month, the staff and the owner were speaking in Chinese and observing me and my 5 years old son in the shop because we have been there for over half an hour so need to have a careful" eyes on us. Needless to say they did the same to other kids thinking they need to be "observed". Been to the shop today

Feedback emailed to Toyworld.There was a younger staff today at the Toyworld Botany Downs branch who was extremely rude. We have bought toys every visit and am now never returning to this store.He would stand close and stare at kids touching the toys. My little one is only two years old, supervised and this unwelcoming behaviour right infront of a parent is uncalled for. There are better and nicer ways to approach this than to stare angrily at children.It doesn't matter if you have a good selection of toys if your staff is this uninviting. I would understand if he only did this for those who were rough with the toys but even then would expect some degree of emotional intelligence. I am sure other parents who were there today have experienced the same as I saw him do it to many other children.If you do not want kids touching your toys then don't open a brick and mortar store next to the playground.Your staff should know exactly who I am talking about. I wouldn't have bought these if my wife was as unforgiving as I am.

Simply magical.I could go broke fulfilling my own inner-child's wishes, and of course our actual child's!A great mix of imaginative and educational toys, open-ended toys and learning kits, all set in a wonderfully accessible location with lots of nearby parking.
