24 Hour Surgery

Sad to see the negative reviews. We have had nothing but good experiences. When my daughter stood on a nail yes there was a wait, but when we were seen the doctors wanted to be thorough and when she had her tetanus booster the nurse was absolutely outstanding.

I took my 8 year old daughter because she had awful pain in the lower right of her abdomen, she could barely walk. I called Healthline and they were concerned that her symptoms sounded like appendicitis and to get her seen immediately. I took her in and it was a nightmare. We waited 30 minutes to be triaged. Then sat there for 4 hours with my child in pain. When I asked after 4.5hrs how long the wait would be, I was told there were 16 people still ahead of us! I get that they’re busy and understaffed but the complete lack of communication and any kind of sensitivity is not ok. What really got me was when a teenager came in, said he thought he might have dislocated his shoulder but it had gone back in and he had minor pain was seen after an hour. What sort of triage system is that?!

I understand that the clinic is always busy, and the healthcare system is under insane pressure. However left feeling frustrated yesterday. Came in with my partner who has suspected concussion, we were told we would be waiting 2 hours, and 4.5 hours later we were still not seen to. When I went and asked the reception how close we were to be being seen I was told there are others here longer than you

Thank you to all the staff for a lovely experience here tonight; was not expecting to spend 6+ hours on a Friday night at the 24 Hour Surgery but I received excellent care and everyone was very patient and professional. The nurse who triaged me was superb, gave me excellent advice and care before I waited for the doctor, who himself was just sensational at what he did. At no point did I feel rushed or like another number in a wait room. Dr Matthew Green was thorough and efficient, and had a great bedside manner. I am very happy with how this night turned out. And the ladies who took the payment at the end were a barrel of laughs too ;)

I was very impressed with the friendly and efficient service my relative and I received yesterday afternoon. The triage nurse was especially warm and respectful and Dr Fountain made us both want to be her patient with her knowledgeable and empowering manner. Thank you.

Was greeted by a nice reception, the triage nurses took my details Within 10 mins of being inside and saw a doctor within the hour. She was super nice and very helpful and thorough. These guys do an awesome job, keep it up

We had a very pleasant visit here this evening, from the nurse who greeted us at the door, to the reception ladies and the triage nurses who were very calm, professional and friendly. Dr Victoria Eastwood was amazing, very thorough and caring and we never felt rushed. We got given a colouring in pack and offered tea and coffee in the waiting room. We were seen quickly and it was such a nice experience my young one didn’t want to leave despite being quite poorly. After the media coverage this week about how busy and under pressure the healthcare system is. Thank you to everyone here providing the upmost care in obviously trying times, it’s most appreciated.

Lovely reception staff, kind and caring nurses and a fantastic doctor. My daughter was even given an ice block in the waiting room. All staff are doing such an amazing job while also being under immense pressure. Thank you!
