Hello. I have had two family portraits, in antique gold frames, recently cleaned and restored at the Art Conservaton Workshop. These pictures were fully examined by Angela Ruger, who gave me a detailed history about their past and what was needed to be done to them to ensure they would be treasures for my family for years to come. Angela was recommended to me to restore a very old (0ver 150 years) portrait painting of my grandmother.I was quite nervous about handing over such a fragile painting. I needn't have been - her expertise and knowledge was truly amazing and the result was incredible.

I am very happy with the work Maria has done cleaning, restoring and conserving two family paintings that are over 100 years old. They look fabulous. The work was done in a surprisingly short time and done for what I think is a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Maria.
