Pakiri Beach Holiday Park
We had a great weekend here in a lovely little cabin. A nice room, perfect location right next to the white sanded beach. The staff were friendly and made an effort to chat especially Murray and the toilets/showers and the kitchen were super clean. I highly recommend - especially for summer and especially for families with children.

It was a bit pricey and lacking a few basics in the communal kitchen and bathrooms like washing up liquid and paper towels. The herb garden was a lovely thought.

Spent a weekend here end of Feb23. Amazing beach, fishing with the kids was fun. The holiday park is well located, checkin was a breeze. Pauline and staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return

Poor reception staff.Very expensiveWe had to clean shower before we could use it. Hair hanging from wall. ????Hot water ran out before we were finished. . Took so long to come through.Looked like staff driving around in white car laughing . They could have been cleaning . Lovely spot shame it was let down by staff.

I rang here because my guide says that they give hiker discounts (our tents take up very little space). After telling them who I was they told me to book online. Doing so, I couldn’t see the discount option but thought “that’s OK, I’m sure they’ll sort it out later“. Nope- flat out refused and even had the cheek to say “if you had told us…“. Their attitude was further displayed when I asked if my dollar coin would work the showers, and was told I could change them for 50c pieces at a town 30km away! So having taken an extra $25, they couldn’t trust me with change for a dollar. Then didn’t reply to my email about this.Wifi costs extra too.

Currently stuck at pakiri Beach holiday park after being insulted by staff about my employment, I feel so uncomfortable after the way a member of staff treated me and my family I want to leave but paid for the night and don't want to upset my mum who invited me here. It's unfortunate as I Use to come here as a child and the location IS stunning, but was treated disgustingly by an individual who's reasoning was that he didn't like my mother, who has a separate reservation to me and should have no bearing on the way I have been treated. I've never felt so uncomfortable on vacation"

Pakiri Beach Holiday Park
This is the second time we've spent our Christmas vacation at Pakiri Beach Holiday Park. The only difference this time is that we came in a large group of six families because we had such a good time the previous time and wanted to share it with our friends.The campground is very well managed. The lawn is extremely dense, making it ideal for camping and playing. The glamping tent is delicately fitted, with enough space for 5 people or a family to enjoy. They have the cleanest amenities and facilities I've ever experienced.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quick getaway from Auckland.

What's happened? Totally different experience to my previous stay. Cleanliness lacking, no toilet paper in public toilets, limited time on play equipment & unhelpful staff! Not welcoming or an enjoyable stay.BRING BACK JORDAN & TOM

Pakiri Beach Holiday Park
I spent the weekend in room 1 - Seaview Cottages and to say I am in awe of the place is an understatement. Our weather was horrible but we still got to walk on the white sand beach and appreciate the incredible beauty surrounding Pakiri holiday park.We will definitely be back in summer!!The room was perfect. Staff were lovely. Location - paradise!

Pakiri Beach Holiday Park
So i took the kids camping in Pakiri camping last year and we loved it, so when thinking about where to go this year it was a no brainer. Sadly things have gone downhill, the toilets weren't clean, there was no toilet paper, and the bouncy pillow the kids loved was up for a short time. It was hard to find staff...I could see the management had changed and missed the friendly presence of the camp managers Jordan and Tom. Such a shame
