Great in the snow. Unusual event but the hot pies were lovely and very friendly staff. Easy to find things and specials close to check out.Will call in again. Watch out for the in and out openings to the parking area.

Nice local store and in the village visiting family and was disappointed with the attitude of Nicky on the front counter. Not user friendly at all. Surely someone who would be happy to be working there would be more of an asset to this store

Cycled into Tapawera 4pm hoping to stay at the hotel - but it was closed. Kieri at the 4 Square saved the day for us, helping to find accomodation at the local camp ground and putting a chicken in the grill for us to pick up later. When we came to get the chicken we found she had added vegetables so we had a roast meal. What could have been an unpleasant night became a joyful one. We can't thank her enough.

We stopped for a pit stop and an ice cream on a hot summer's day. Lovely clean store, wide aisles, well-stocked shelves and really friendly staff. Great experience!
