Great place to go for lunch. Largest selection of hot food I've seen at any service station. Delicious and tasty food along with a perfect coffee.

Delicious food especially the fried chicken. Friendly staff. April is very accomodating.

Terrible service! Went in and ordered chips and hotdogs. No salt on chips and when we asked about our hotdogs we received angry looks and were told they wouldn’t make them for us and we could either have sausages or a refund. They were rude even when we were polite and understood they were busy. Will never go again.

Today I stop at rakaia mobil, service was good when I spend more than$100 for food, drink and a phone holder, but after two minutes I found the phone holder doesn't fit my phone(my phone is Samsung Galaxy22 ultra), so I back to the shop ask to exchange to a tray of eggs not even ask refund, the staff told me they can't do it because I opened the package, then she take the instruction out of the box said I should read the instruction before I open the box, I ask her if I not open the box how can I read the instruction in side of the box, then she told me I should look the website on the box to find out its fits my phone or not, but there is no website on the package, how funny! I ask to see the manager, manager told me they not refund or exchange for me if I open the package, she said its company policy(I can't see any policy post around the counter),she told me if I not happy I can come back tomorrow! rakaia mobile is one hour drive from Christchurch, I don't want waste my time here, so just walk away with a rubbish phone holder!

Lovely service, not bad coffee!Sadly there are zero vegetarian or vegan options in the hot and fresh food section other than hot chips without chicken seasoning by request.

Friendly staff. A young girl was there 5/12/2022 around 5pm, I saw her assisting a older lady to fill, looked so affectionate. Which I loved seeing. 91, 95 petrol available. Diesel too. This has got enough space here. It is not packed. Has got a cafe and a mini supermarket there. Cafe doesn't seem to be operating 24x7 as I have passed by there at night, that is what I have observed. But as there isn't much options passing by Rakaia (cafes), this is a prominent option

Loved the Burger and chips, the staff and service. The Burger looks much smaller in the picture. You guys always have great chips.
