Very nice room. Comfortable and clean. Room had a nice private patio area that overlooked a garden. Location was good, very peaceful just on the edge of the karamea township. Will definitely stay again if we travel that way again.

We are at this lovely place at the moment. Meticulously clean, very well appointed, studio unit. Lovely welcoming and helpful owner. Highly recommended. Safe and reasonably priced. Will come again given the opportunity.

Great location, private with magnificent views. The owner and staff are really friendly. Spent 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves.

The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the views just lovely. We particularly enjoyed watching the cattle using the scratching post! On top of this Allison was a charming hostess who could not have been more helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stay in Karamea.

Allison was a lovely hostess and our stay was fantastic. The unit was like a home away from home where we could relax and recharge. We would strongly recommend this place for anyone to stay.

Karamea River Motels
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in November 2022. The unit we had was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. The Manager was friendly and she suggested some good local places to visit which we did. I have no hesitation in recommending the Karamea River Motels to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with a very reasonable room rate.
