Device Repair Guy Lambton Quay

I had a problem with the battery in my computer and it was just out of time for the warranty. But they honoured it anyway and I got a new battery put into my second-hand computer that I bought at this shop. I hugely rate the speed, friendliness and efficiency of this service.

Good advice and knowledge, good service, fixed the issue (slowness on an older Mac).

Very helpful and great attitude. So often I feel talked down to in tech shops but not here. Such a refreshing difference in the Apple Guy shops. Quick turnaround and they went the extra step to deliver my laptop to an alternative location to enable me to collect on a Saturday. Thanks Apple Guy.

Expert information. Completed work earlier than quoted. Follow up phone call to check I was happy next day. Great price. 100% impressed. Recommended.

Would definitely NOT recommend this place if you are wanting a high quality repair. Despite branding themselves as an Apple repair store they use cheaper third party parts which can cause more problems for your device down the line. After having my screen repaired here, the touchscreen was faulty, and when I brought it back a second time the problem was still not resolved. I assumed it was an underlying problem with my phone. However, a few weeks later, when my phone was dropped a short distance in a drop-proof case, the screen completely broke. I was told by an apple certified repairer that the screen was defective and low quality and contributed to the damage.

Chris was so very patient and helpful, both over the phone and in person. He did everything he could to try and fix the issue, and went over and above for customer service. So grateful for his help!

Have a better understanding of what you can or cannot do. Instead of wasting customer's time and money. If you can't fix face ID, why did you tell me upfront but asked to do a dignostic and proposed a fix" which is simply restore the device when you know it won't fix the problem?"

So good! Got locked out of my macbook and the Device Repair Guy calmly carefully worked through possible steps to get me back in. I'll be back with my bigger issues for sure!

Awful and upsetting — my experience at The Apple Guy. I went in to get my MacBook trackpad fixed, I was quoted $96 for the replacement and then when I went to pay it was $232.00 which took me by complete shock. The man explained that his co worker was new and misunderstood payment process which I understand but I received no compensation for this upsetting experience. I am a first year University student who is very tight on money but needs a working laptop to get assignments done. I had no choice but to pay. Had I known the full extent of the cost, I would’ve taken different measures. I felt I was misinformed, and taken advantage of which left me in tears.

Please post on your web site because all 3 of you were so very helpful. I was tired due to a fairly early morning flight and worrying about the dilemma I found myself in and you fixed it in record time.I am very grateful to have found your shop and to have met you all.
