Even under pressure, very friendly ,because they were busy! All sorts of issues coming through the door, as well as some annoying phone calls ( as well as clients), all with handled with a smile.

The doctor was nice. I only waited for about half hour. The younger lady on the reception was friendly but the elder lady doesn’t like foreigners.

I am a RN. Have worked ED, SCBU,Paeds. Have spent hours and hours in Welly ED with acute stuff over the last year with my teen that's a student in Welly. They are so streched and do an amazing job. She was going to be a T5 on a Friday night....thats 24-30 hrs waiting.Took her to the clinic with general unwellness. So impressed with the service. Reception, triage, Dr. 1 ¹½ andhours and out. $110

I wanted to share my experience to advocate that everyone follow their intuition and not rely on providers to always listen to you. I visited this center because I had the most painful headache for over a week along with other worsening symptoms. I knew it was something more severe than a sinus infection or migraine. The nurse and GP were very nice and kind. But in the end the GP thought it was a migraine and told me he wouldn’t do any tests. I think he specifically said he didn’t think it was meningitis. I called later in the evening because I had uncontrollable chills and I knew I needed to get testing. I asked if I could come back and get a referral for a LP because my GP appointment was a week away. The person who answered the phone was rude and condescending and told me nobody was going to refer me to get a LP and I had to wait for the GP appointment. I replied the first available was a week away and I’m in so much pain I really don’t want to wait a week. She raised her voice and just repeated that I had to wait for the GP and they won’t refer me for a LP there. I ended up going to the ED the next day and getting a LP, which confirmed it was meningitis. I don’t mind when providers miss things because they just didn’t consider something uncommon as a possibility. But what makes it so horrible is when people make you feel stupid and ridiculous for trying to advocate for yourself. I wouldn’t choose to use urgent care again.

I arrived today around 6pm, I was seen by the triage nurse fairly quickly , after I did not have a long wait before a doctor came to see me. my doctor was Dr N.Sawicki , she was very kind, considerate and understanding, I feel that she had a lot of time and respect for me as a patient, In the past I have been to other clinics where it feels like they just want you in and out the door as quick as possible. But I feel that dr Sawicki was the opposite and treated me with dignity, respect and patience.

Sunday afternoon. You just got your wisdom teeth pulled out the day prior, you're in pain. The most pain you've ever felt. That was me walking into this medical centre & seeing what seemed like thousands of people in there.I checked in & got addressed by the nurse which informed me about the wait time.I'm a recovering people pleaser so I without a hesitation said thank you that's totally fine & say back down.Let me get one thing straight, I felt like everything within a 1 m radius of me was obstructed by pain.I manage to pare my eyes on the wall trying to fixate on something else other than pain when I read specific signage that related to my situation. From the sign to the receptionist I flick back-and-forth contemplating my next move, do listen to the sign, or am I wasting my time telling the receptionist. But hold me down, they made me feel listened & heard, they did not give me no funny looks or even have the slightest mannerisms as if they were in any way disbelieving me.Thank you.

I went here because I saw on the website that there is free antivirus medicine for someone who have covid symptoms but don’t have prescription.I just arrived in Wellington for a few days. So I didn't know the standard of giving medicine.I went to ask the nurse at the front desk and the young nurse was nice but I didn't make it clear so she gave me a form to see the doctor. After I filled out the form, I was greeted by an old lady with short hair. She asked me what visa I was on, and I told her it was a student visa. Then she told me I need to pay $250 fee. After saying this, I don't know which one of us had the ear problem, she kept telling me she couldn't hear what I was saying. She said I don't understand what your purpose is here. (Now I understand why there was a previous comment saying she doesn't like foreigners). Then she called an elderly nurse to ask me, and I told her that I only had mild symptoms and wanted to know if I could get free medicines (because I had received free covid medicines when I was studying in Australia, plus The description on the website, I thought Wellington also had it). But the nurse kept asking me why I didn’t take the covid test, and didn’t listen to what I was saying. I didn't know until the end that I wasn't eligible for free medication. I was really confused. When I was about to leave, the old nurse stopped me again and asked me why didn't I do a test here? I thought she was talking about the free self test box and I was taken to a room and waited for the nurse to come. Then the lady with the short hair seemed to think I was someone who wanted everything for free and didn't want to pay for it, come here tell me very loudly that the covid test will cost $120. She said do you want to pay or not?"There were a lot of people there and I really found that attitude very rude. Won’t be going there again."

Went here when my hubby got asthma episode..We were Being helped speedily and professionally, with friendly nurses. As patient with trouble breathing and short breathness, we had the priority. We stayed for about two hours to finish the protocol for asthma patient. The nebulizer and prednisone helped. Thank you so much Dr. Cheyenne Heka, Dr. John, and nurse Robyn and nurse Kate.As we are not Kiwis and have no insurance, we paid NZD 250 up front for this service. It has pharmacy and Pacific Radiology for X-Ray as well at the vicinity. The after hours open everyday, from 8 AM to 9 PM if I’m not mistaken. You can always check out the opening hours. It’s disability friendly with ramp entrance and facilities for those with reduced mobility
