Mel is the best celebrant ever !She got us right from the get go, always there when needed & had some epic ideas.We wanted very casual, light & fun and that is exactly what we got, everybody at the ceremony said it was the best ceremony they had been to.Mel really listened to what we wanted and was all for it, really got involved with making it super fun & completely stress free.The support from Mel was just awesome nothing was ever a bother.Couldn’t recommend Mel enough she really created our best day ever.Thank you so muchMr & Mrs Wrathall xxx

She was incredible in the build up to the wedding day helping us navigate some of the things we needed to prepare. Mel is so super wonderful, we couldn't have asked for a better celebrant on our special day! We are based overseas and flew in only 2 days prior to our wedding, this was no trouble at all for Mel. We found her on Instagram, watched her reels and instantly knew we wanted her apart of our day, We were ever so lucky with just 4 weeks notice she made it work and went well and truly above and beyond! Mel is everything you want in a celebrant and more!Mel married us on August 27th and right from the start her vibrant personality and calming nature helped us to navigate through each and every process. She was flexible with our extremely busy and forever changing schedules and took the time to get to know us both before putting our ceremony together. We had multiple meetings with her as a couple as well as separately! Giving us suggestions, tips, poems and readings we could possibly use. Everything was customisable! We both needed help writing our vowels and nothing she did was “standard”. We felt heard and cared for. She checked in frequently to see how we were going with the planning of our wedding and offered help where she could. She acknowledged my Māori heritage perfectly and ensured protocol was taken. Mel is a brilliant celebrant and made our wedding incredibly special and unique. We live in London but the wedding was in Dunedin and Mel helped us plan the ceremony over zoom and email, adding her own excellent suggestions for ways of including moving vows to our daughters along with the more traditional wedding vows.Many of our guests commented on Mel's wonderful relaxed but professional vibe for the ceremony - she made it all happen on time and in the right order without ever conveying any stress or drama.We're very grateful we had Mel as our celebrant and can't recommend her highly enough. Communication was excellent and she is very thorough, sending us a draft of the ceremony with time for comments etc beforehand.

How can you put into words when someone impacts your life for a moment and it feels like a lifetime??? Mel, you were, hands down, one of the most impactful, funny, sweet, heartfelt and kindest part of the whole wedding process for us. Your injection of humour and sincerity were second to none. We knew when we met you, you were our perfect fit and we look forward to reminding you of that for years to come. Mel was truly magnificent!! The whole process felt so easy and natural. She is very passionate about marriage and the journey of love which truly shows in her consultations (and these literally always felt like overdue coffee catch ups with an old mate!). Mel really got to know who we are as individuals and as a couple, and helped us shape our wedding ceremony to perfectly fit us! We wanted fun and to be a bit different by changing up the traditional" layout of a ceremony and including our own surprises for our guests- drawing our witnesses names out of a kete on the spot

Highly highly recommend Mel as a celebrant!!! She made us feel so comfortable and helped us with all things wedding. By the end of the ceremony we really felt as though she was a part of our friends and family, she fit in so well and everyone loved her!! Our ceremony was perfect and described us amazingly well!!! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to be celebrating our special day alongside us.

We honestly feel so lucky to have had Mel be such a huge role on our special day! Our ceremony was everything we wanted it to be a more. The way Mel wrote our ceremony and love story was beyond what I could’ve thought, the time and the effort she put into it must’ve taken forever but the way she wrote her words and spoke made it feel like she had really known us and followed our journey from the start! Meeting with a stranger to plan your day can always be tricky not knowing what you’re in for but she makes it so easy and it’s seem less. She has so many amazing fun / loving / sweet ideas to make sure your day is everything you want it to be! Do you ever meet someone and within 10 seconds of having a conversation you're just like I love this person! You enjoy being around them the vibe they have they are just so easy to talk too! This is Mel!! From the minute I met her I knew she would be a perfect fit for us, and she was! She was amazing we met her a couple times for coffee and milkshakes. Mel truly went above and beyond to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible for us on our big day. Our ceremony was flawless she calmed our nerves and gave us some laughs along the way. We were blown away with how she wrote our ceremony it was like she had known us for years it was incredible. We had the most amazing day we honestly cannot thank Mel enough!!
