Devonport Pharmacy

I am a Devonport resident and am particularly pleased to note - using the Devonport Pharmacy, with its various functions, has been successful, easy, and should be applauded. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends, family and acquaintances.Patricia Meiring.

I’m a regular customer and find the service to be excellent. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. If they don’t have a product in stock they will endeavour to do so. I have never experienced a pharmacist not being on site for assistance. They consistently delivers a high level of service. Well done

This has been my pharmacy for the last 25 years. Staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and courteous, and are all very knowledgeable. It is a pleasure to shop here. The pharmacy is very well stocked at all times but if an item is not at hand - for example, an epipen, it can be readily provided within half a day. A very hygienic, thriving pharmacy at which it is a pleasure to shop or ask for health information. They also are doing flu and Covid innoculations and passport photos etc .A one-stop" shop for your health requirements!"

This really can't be! While passing through New Zealand, I asked for a remedy that helps after a bite from sandflies. I was given Stingrose spray. This remedy unfortunately did not work and on further investigation, the expiry date on the remedy was found to have been partially wiped off. Thank you! What a service

I believe that the owner has taken on board some of the negative comments previously posted and that the staff have improved. I can't fault them with my issue as they did go out of their way to try and help me track down a missing prescription that I needed to have filled for my elderly father. For me I have always found the dispensary staff friendly and I leave feeling that my needs have been met. I will continue to support them by using them for future transactions.

Absolutely appalling treatment by staff on both occasions I've visited. Last time I dismiss my visit as just a rude staff member, however today I went in for some over the counter antibiotics and the pharmacist and staff members were just very uncompassionate and rude. I was told I don't qualify for the antibiotics and was offered other over priced products from their shop which I have tried in the past and haven't worked. I left this shop knowing that I will never return and I will let friends and family know not to shop there. During my visit, one of the staff rudely asked someone if they were double vaxxed. A person who innocently wanted to have a look around, this scared him off. Another thing that is not great for business. Having left I went to a wonderful chemist in takapuna who went through the same form with me and said everything looked fine- i was given the antibiotics and it was only $19. Lots cheaper than the $45 dollars Devonport chemist try to make people pay- Absolute rip off prices. Avoid at all costs

I am also very surprised to see these negative reviews. Fantastic staff, always very friendly and helpful! And customer service has been amazing during the stressful times we've had, especially during the last two years.

I am very surprised to see these negative reviews. Being a regular customer, I am in there at least once a week for meds. I cannot speak highly enough of them They are pleasant and discreet, going the extra mile. I have been there when demanding customers make a scene, and they are always professional. It is very easy to complain, spread the word and so it goes on. If all the people who are happy with the service from this pharmacy wrote reviews, they would soon give a real customer view. Difficult customers usually receive polite service. I have seen some customers who are so demanding, and they are not happy, but are they ever? Some are born to treat customer service employees as lower beings.Try seeing it from the business point of view. Try being pleasant and polite when you are requiring help, service. They are doing their very best, and have been there through our difficult times. I would rate their service overall as excellent. Always.
