Te Mata Peak
Hair raising drive up to see it but who could fault those views! Stunning. (Note - I wouldn't attempt this drive in a heavy vehicle like a campervan and certainly not towing anything. The road is full of sharp switchbacks and is narrow in places).

Te Mata Peak
This has to be the most spectacular view in the Hawkes Bay area. 360° visibility for miles! Careful when driving as the road is rather narrow at times and people drive to fast up there.

Te Mata Peak
Te Mata Peak is absolute must see / hike to attraction off the Hawke’s Bay. If you’re lazy you can drive all the way to the top, but there is a car park at the bottom and it’s a nice not too challenging hike to the top easily accessible with wide variety of difficulty options. Rewarding views when you reach the top are just priceless with stunning sights all the way towards Napier and even Gisborne if you’re lucky

Mesmerizing views with chilly and breezy winds. I went there twice, noon and evening, and the views were just totally different and equally astonishing. Highly recommended for nature lovers and landscape enthusiasts.

Te Mata Peak
The area is beautiful great mix of MTB, walking and views. Slightly disappointed that I can’t fly a drone when there is no people around and spots for picnic could be better but worth the visit

The road to the top of Te Mata Peak (399Metres high) is a little narrow but fully tar sealed and in very good condition. Plenty of parking at the top and absolutely breathtaking views. Well worth the drive.

Te Mata Peak
Very impressive views on a clear view over the surrounding landscape and the sea. You can drive straight to the top or stop at one of the several parking areas and walk the not to steep path to the peak. Hi
