1/5 service. would not recommend to anyone. I took my film to get developed here and was expecting a good experience. It took two weeks just to get it developed. At first when received film I had been given the wrong persons, and then got it fixed. My usb then did not contain my pictures it was just blank, so I had to go back another time to get it sorted. I will not be returning and have decided id rather take my film somewhere else to get developed that is worth my money and time.

Used to be the best quality images in Christchurch and I would drive to Riccarton especially to print photos here and had for many years as well as the service. Recently the quality of images I have recieved is comparable to much cheaper alternatives. I use a Canon camera and have a S22 smartphone so I do expect the images will come out as good as they previously have. So therefore I will not be returning.

Recently bought a second hand film camera and had my 2nd roll of film developed at hanafins. First time developing there there was excellent! Fast service, nothing to complain about. However, my second experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. The woman who returned my photos back to me was very rude about the fact that I was an amateur and still learning how to use my camera. She gave me a sour face and told me to bring my camera to the shop so they can “teach me how to use it”. I understand I am just beginning, but I do know how the camera works and I was simply experimenting and having fun with the camera. Service like this makes me not want to return to the shop incase I essentially get told off again for not taking perfect shots.

Hanafins customer service is superb! The staff are really friendly, nice and would go extra mile for their customers. Hanafins is always my go to! Keep it up guys! Shout out to the nice lady, Becka for being considerate! Thank you!

Would highly recommend Hanafins for passport photosMy girlfriend went here to get a passport photo taken as she wasn't happy with one she'd had taken elsewhere.The photo turned out perfectly for her and the lady was very friendly and helpful.She took a couple and checked with my girlfriend if they were okay which was really appreciated.The cost was consistent with passport photos from most other places but they use far better equipment here than most pharmacies

Too bad they are closing! Used to do very good passport photos with a minimum of fuss. Guess the new smartphones with giant sized screens killed off the printing biz.

Friendly and quite helpful staff but every time I go there and get my photos developed they take daaaays and even a week max to develop my photos which i am sure does not take that long to develop photos. PS. I still have not received my photos and it’s been a week

The guy who served me tonight, Sunday night 05:30pm, was friendly professional didn't muck around, explained what he was doing, around great customer experience.

I needed to get two photos printed for very important gifts at very last minute (an hour before everything shut on xmas eve) we tried a couple of places that weren't doing photo printing day before xmas. We also found the customer service at those places pretty terrible. We were about to give up before we gave hannafins a call. I spoke to a very polite Jordan who said it wouldn't be a issue to get those done in the half hour they were still open so we rushed there to get there in time. There was a older gentleman who served us in the store and he was fantastic! I just wanted to give this review because working in customer service myself at this time of year is difficult but these guys were absolutely amazing and made me feel far less stressed going into xmas day. The photos were also brilliant. Thanks for making our day!!
