Hot Bread Shop Cafe
One of the best cafes in NZ. Reasonably priced, super fresh food and always a friendly smile from the staff. A must stop on our way through Opotiki. Highly recommend the chicken & avocado sandwiches and the seafood rolls yummy!

Fantastic selection of gourmet breakfasts, pies, sandwiches, cakes, sausage rolls, hot chips, coffee and cereals.Serves a bloody excellent All Day Breakfast with Bacon, Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage and Tomato.The coffee here is absolutely delicious and goes down a real treat before work, Highly recommend stopping in here.

Cafe was very busy. Tables not wiped down and lack of cutlery for food service . No teaspoons served with coffee. Had to track down and get attention. On positive side bacon and spinach scone was great and coffee extra hot as requested.

Lovely cafe, with friendly staff and yummy snacks. Unfortunately the toilets were a huge let down. They were very smelly.

Fantastic stop over on a hot summers day. The place was sooooooo busy on New Years Eve (daytime). People everywhere. Staff were excellent. Food delicious. Certainly recommend.

A good variety of foods. Doesn't have that mass produced feel/taste like the other bakeries.Nice atmosphere. Inside/outside seating.I love the chicken and camembert on foccacia.

Nice cafe with standard fare, lots of counter selections as well as cooked-to-order meals. Tried the caramel oat bar and apple slice, both tasty and reasonably priced for the size. Coffee was also good, they brew Altura coffee beans.Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Cafe entrance has stair on one side and ramp access the other.No wifi available.
