Nice big parking area, there's a left and right tracks they both meet at the lookout tower so don't worry which 1 to take.

Pukemokemoke Bush Reserve
This Bush is one of the best located in Hamilton, New Zealand. What I like it about it covers dense forest, kiari grooves, native trees,nice mountain with an excellent step, picnic area, birds. It is simply reflect true nature supplemented with human inovation( step to climb up, sitting coach after some run).More importantly it is very close yo Hamilton city. I felt energetic after walking the hill.

Area is in a bad state of repair and feels unloved with trash and rotten planks all over.Walk to summit is 20 minutes.

The combined walkway / vehicle tracks were also really good with a pram! Just need to clean the wheels. The spraying station thankfully had also handheld sprayers.

Nice trail with the family but will not recommend taking a baby with you. Toilets and picnic spot at the base so leave all stuff in the car and keep it simple for the walk. Good footwear required as track could be slippery at places.

Lovely reserve to walk and run. Great to see regular work being done on the tracks. Would be good to see ALL dog walkers keeping their dogs on leash to protect such an amazing place.

Great loop walk - relatively short. The summit is worth the extra effort. Better if a sunny day.

Beautiful place, stunning nz flora and fauna. Nice little challenge to hike and great to have a lunch in the gorgeous natural environment

Love this walk! Got confused when I took the 20 minute log hauler walk and ended up at the end of the trail but soon figured my way out.
