Retro feel and spotlessly clean. I totally recommend this lodge and would definitely stay again. The Urewera's is an untouched jewel and the lodge is a good place to stay when you're exploring the area

Absolutely amazing location, super friendly hosts and community in Tuai! My room was extremely warm, really felt like home. My hosts had also prepared a continental breakfast which was really appreciated. I highly recommend staying at Lake Waikaremoana Lodge to any traveller heading that way.

This was perfect. Stayed with my family the night prior to starting the Great Walk. Everything we needed was here, great job all. Oh the serenity.

Awesome hospitality Benita, I could see you are very passionate about your job in the way you conduct yourself which has a flow on effect with the lovely cleaners you have working alongside you. The rooms are very clean and comfortable actually the whole complex is very clean inside and outside. I have no hesitation booking into Lake Whakamarino Lodge again.

Clean and comfortable, the cottages are simple but spacious and with gorgeous wooden joinery. A great spot to stay for trampers.

This is definitely the place to stay especially if you are doing a tramp and need some pampering before and after. The home cooked food is absolutely delicious. Benita went above and beyond the call of duty and helped organise pick ups/drop offs etc and made everything so easy for us. Although the buildings are older, they are equipped with everything you need, the setting is lovely and everything is so clean. Our stay here was such a lovely experience and we are so glad we chose this place over the others. We would love to return one day.

Beautiful part of the world. Warm and cosy accommodation. Best have vodaphone or 2degrees if you want to use your phone. Great staff and food

Beautiful, tidy place. Staff is very helpful and I'm thankful to them. Great quality-price ratio. Would be 5 star if their Wi-Fi could reach houses where guests are accommodated.

What's a wonderful place to visit. We felt that it was luxury can stay in a lodge like that in a such remote areas. The place is clean and insufficient. I will recommend to anyone who want travel to the Lake Wai keremoana. Vivien Wong
