For travelers heading from Christchurch to Hanmer Springs, New World Kaiapoi has an awesome variety of food and great customer service.I filled my esky with lovely fresh fruit and ingredients for lunch and dinner.Your dollar will go further here than Culverden or Hanmer Springs.Thank you New World Kaiapoi.

We did our gymnastics club fund raiser BBQ here ..... they supplied the BBQ and gas and we bought all the other items that were needed as well. Very nice new super market wide aisles and lots of food on the shelves. Nice meat options to choose in the chilled counter to choose from. We sold lots of gourmet sausages ... hog n honey, version and red wine, lamb feta pumpkin chives ..... yummy

Great wide isles with plenty of stock. Parking is good and the store is less than 1/2 a k from the NZMCA park.

bought ready to eat teriyaki chicken for $6.48. grossly over priced for a very thin layer of shredded chicken on top of a huge bed of rice!! And In House Shrimp - found 4 shrimp in amongst the large chunks of fish which tasted and had same texture to rubber. Don't buy either!!

My local supermarket for a few months. It's not the largest New World but is nicely stocked. Good selection of fruit and vegetables. Meat selection is ok. Has a good wine and beer area. Very clean and tidy.
