Great park for little kids and older ones. There is a skate park for them to. The toilets are a little far away if you are carrying a toddler but were quite clean. Parking was great.

Very nice playground with lots of interesting equipment for the kids to try. You see this playground just as you enter Paeroa from SH2, there is a convenient car park and it’s just a 30 sec drive from the L&P Cafe (nice fish and chips). The playground itself is quite big, the section closest to the car park is for smaller kids and the equipment looks fairly new. There is a rock climbing statue and the playground for bigger kids has lots of cool climbs, slides and balancing steps. This playground is also next to Paeroa skate park, you can sink a few hours into this place if you really tried. Worth a quick stop if you’re travelling with kids!

went to park to find a bench to snooze while my truck was in for a WOF,wished I bought a cushion,used my trainers to soften the blow,it was nice to hear the kids playing and the parents gassing and guffawing while I relaxed n made out I was aslleep

Lovely place.... Gardens are well kept but a lot of litter between the flowerbeds., presumably from visitors who do not appreciate this lovely country and this specific area.

My kids love this park. The monkey bars, the zipline, the bouncy square, the swing, the rotating thing, skate park and more.It has a drinking fountain near the skate park and a free push barbecue station to heat your food anytime. Awesome!

Pretty ok, I guess. Camping apps says it's $5 per night to be paid at the caltex, but the council website says freedom camping and mentions nothing about a fee. But I know it's $5 for power. No signs up about freedom camping :(
