Quite good, frequently packed. The sushi is good and the prices decent. Not the best sushi I've ever had for the price, but average or better then average. Presentation was nice and the service was very good. Worth a visit.

Really nice atmosphere with an expansive vegan & keto menu in addition to an already large regular menu too. Had a great teriyaki tofu donburri that I’d happily eat again.

Jizo has an entire vegan menu and great service! I asked for recommendations and a wonderful human (who was also vegan) picked out some great things for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Teriyaki Tofu Balls, Vegan Karaage Entree, and Kushiage Tofu with Sesame Seeds. It was great to go solo and experience but I’d love to go back with friends and share lots of entree platters and small plates!

Although we had heard good things about this restaurant we were disappointed. We were traveling through town, and perhaps at other times the food is tasty, this was not one of those times. We ordered the large sushi platter for the two of us. The pieces of nigiri were so-so with the exception of the salmon which was very good. What detracted from the meal was the substandard quality of the sushi rice - arguably the most important aspect of nigiri. The nigiri was placed on cricket-ball sized pieces of rice, which was either over cooked or under cooked - it was hard to say. In any event, no self-respecting sushi chef should be serving such rice. We have no complaints about the service, our waitress Emily was excellent, even though she was delivering substandard sushi. We hope it was just a bad night for the rice cooker, but we will never know.

Great atmosphere and very tasty food. Sometimes hard to get a table as the restaurant is very popular however they do allow bookings so you can plan ahead. Friendly staff and good service too.

Came here on a friend’s recommendation and did not regret it. Amazing vibe inside, wide selection for every diner, and great customer service. I had the chasu ramen (pork belly); it came chock full of ingredients like veggies, mung beans, sesame seeds, pickled radish, ramen egg and seaweed. I love my noodle bowls with lots of ingredients in them so this was fantastic. It wasn’t perfect though; the meat pieces were generous but could be more tender and with more flavour, and the noodles were not traditional Japanese ramen at all. They tasted more like egg noodles. Maybe I’ll try the udon next time!

Love the food and service. I got yakiniku beef. It was super delicious. With a salad and rice with it, it was a balanced and tasty meal. Service was super. Highly recommended

This used to be a restaurant that I would bring out of town friends to. But after tonights experience, I'll choose to go elsewhere.While the restaurant was empty we asked if we would be able to sit at one of the tables upstairs. We were quickly denied and said that they are not open. However, after seating us, the same waitress seated the next group upstairs.That would have been alright if that was the only thing but the food was also very disappointing. The salad was dry, the rice was clumpy and the food was overall quite flavourless.It was a dissatisfying experience overall.

Wow such a busy restaurant!With such amazing Japanese Cuisine and a great selection of food!Good Prices, awesome friendly staff and delicious food, served quite fast too!Atmosphere is nice with great wall paintings and great seating arrangement, just a bit noisy as ceiling is high and it carries people's voices around.Overall a really awesome place that I recommend to try!!
