Spanish Lady Motel
Bedding/pillows smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, bathroom door didn't shut, shower was pretty terrible. Don't mind for the price if things are a bit basic and dated but unfortunately have to draw the line at unclean and broken. Also cleaner let themselves in and started clearing the room while we had popped out for breakfast and hadn't yet checked out.

Pleasant enough room quiet. Maintenance is a bit lacking and bed was in desperate need of a new mattress as we experienced roll together badly but I guess when you pay a lower price for a room this is what you can expect. We have paid more and slept in worse so it was OK overall

Yeah I get all the negative comments here. But we had most memorable experience at this basic motel. Yes the owner wasn’t friendliest and the rooms were a bit outdated but it resembled my childhood home and it just was a fun part of our road trip. It was clean and tidy for what we paid. And the owner was nice enough when I said good bye thanks!

Wouldn't know to be honest. Probably best to remove yourselves off the agoda site if they are selling rooms you do not have. This wrecked my whole holiday and still waiting for a refund from this whole nightmare.

Spanish Lady Motel
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Spanish Lady. The hosts made us feel very welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble - much appreciated when you are travelling with children! The motel is tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean - everything you need in a home away from home. The hosts have a good knowledge of the area, and were able to suggest suitable outings for us (when we managed drag the children away from the gorgeous pool!). Can't wait to visit again.

This motel is made fabulous by the owners. Our group (University of Auckland Wine Science) has been returning here for a few years. I'm glad the boss decided on this motel...totally sweet. Main fault: the toilet paper is sub-standard. Great place, basic, I'd gladly return. I didn't see the bill but I gather it's rather reasonable.

All Paint peeling off bathroom ceiling, hole punched in bathroom door, dirty toilet, inside toilet bowl was black around the edges, window sills not wiped, all carpet wet and the stench of Indian incense through the whole room. A car park outside a unit looked like it had been parked there a while and broken. The curtains/nettings of the office building were ripped. The white towels were grey. Terrible, not a recommended motel to stay at.

This place was booked for me by a company and let me tell you I'm not pleased! But it was a bed for the night.The lampshades in the room lookedlike they had not been cleaned of dead moths for a while,The room was claustrophobic we had no where to put lany mind of luggage.The pool looked green on the bottom.Everything looked sketchy and run down, old in a bad way.Being on a main road it was very noisy. Also the curtains were useless! There were street lights shining thru the whole night the curtains didn't block any light source. I kinda felt others could see in but never tested it.I would never stay here again if I was in the are and i would only suggest it if u have no other choice. I could not wait to leave!

Spanish Lady Motel
This lovely old motel is exactly as advertised. Although it is situated right on a busy thoroughfare, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Our unit was very clean and well equipped and had everything needed for an overnight stay. The beds were comfortable and warm with ample extra bedding if required. Our hosts were friendly and well informed.Highly recommend this Motel.
