Always helpful staff and don't seem to be ridiculously overpriced despite being an independent, small town shop. You can get a huge range of gear here that you may have forgotten for the summer holidays.

This shop is an Aladdin's cave with gear for boaties to hunters, campers, trampers, fishermen, DIY, cooks, kids, sport etc. You will need time to look around as they have everything including the kitchen sink. AWESOME STORE - something for everyone.

We stopped in the town of Havelock on our long way around way home to Blenheim, popped into this shop for a quick look - as drove past the day before.What an amount to look at!Everything from general antiques, boating antiques, boating requirements and a vast selection of chandlery, a large selection of fishing gear that's needed for that area (seasonally changing), camping gear and a wide selection of other needs.Beautiful old shop too!Proprietors are friendly and very welcoming - we had a great chat and would love to stop in again in the future!

Great shop. Great atmosphere and extremely helpful staff. If they don't have it they will endeavour to get it. Excellent variety of goods as well as boat-charters into the sounds.
