Christchurch Botanic Gardens Tour
A great place to walk on any day. Don't let the weather put you off it looks great even when wet. There are plenty of places to sit and relax. And there is also a nice cafe. The gardens and flowers look great neatly presented with an array of colour.Off street parking is possible but it quickly fills up. Situated behind the Museum on Hagley Park the Botanical Gardens are easy to find.

Exceptionally beautiful and well designed botanical garden. Do not miss it if you’re in town. (Not sure about the bus tours, we just took a walk and a free guided walking tour.)

A beautiful place to relax. There are plenty of sitting areas. The Botanic Garden tour costs $20, you can get a $2 discount coupon from iLEX. There are many parking space inside the Botanic garden. Tour guide Mike was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable. The tour took 1 hour.

I had the best time. Penny was our guide in a cute little electric bus - fully enclosed from the cold blustery day. She knew so much about the plants and trees and had interesting stories about the history of the gardens.
