Great spot to stop off after watching the sunrise at Cape Reinga. The homemade pies are some of the best I've tasted in NZ. Great coffee and friendly staff

The Best MINCE AND CHEESE PIE I have ever had. It was so tasty omg I wish I had ordered more to bring home.The real fruit ice creams were so yummy.

Such delicious savory pies & hamburgers. And the ice cream (with real berries!) was soooooo tasty . If it wasn't at the end of the world I would definitely come back!

Nothing to say about the food.I had very nice pies and ice cream is good .It’s a ice yogourt with fruits ( frozen yogurt in Canada )I just gave 2 stars for the old lady who served me badly and was not very kind.1) she touch the fruits and ice yogurt with dirty hands / just after cleaning and didn’t wash her hands. That’s fine until someone get sick :) ( So just use a bigger scoop or use gloves. )2) She served me a Broken cone on both side . ( we can see 1 side and the other side is same ) . I ask her an other one to add it on the first one and and said it’s the normal shape … Lol not the same shape than the other custumers after me :)Also I ask 2 more napkins and i had to justify myself it’s because I’m driving…Anyway I’m not going to do a big scandal for a broken cone and hygiene but just to sayThe young lady at the counter is very nice and should serve the ice cream instead of this women !Sometimes it’s not a good choice to serve custumers if we are not happy to do it :)It has be so simple to say :) oh yes sorry the cone is broken I give you 1 one more and 2 more napkins :)Have a good day

If there is nothing else, it's worth a try, but I found the steak and oyster pie a bit odd for my taste. It must be a local delicacy. The pastry was very crispy which was good.
