Nice selection. Standard's of baked foods has consistently been the highest of any supermarket for many years. Prices are generally higher. On average, the types of shopper's look like upper class, than those of e.g Pak and save.New world is nicely presented, the variety of choices is decent, and so is their meats.The price is premium, to reflect this. E.g expect to pay at least 10% more per item, especially for beer

We loved shopping at New World supermarkets while visiting NZ. We shopped them in Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. Great selections including wine and beer, pastries and produce. Would pick up breakfast for next day so we could hit the road and enjoy NZ. Queenstown had a cat outside that they were rehabbing and it is wonderful to see a group willing to help in this way. Highly recommend.

Has everything you'd expect but many things were soooooo expensive. A small punnet of little tomatoes was over $10!Wine was actually reasonable priced!!

It's a great Supermarket. It is what it is. Has the things you need for ok prices. Not as busy as the Countdown so good if you want prefer that. I particularly like how the store has its own adopted cat who is well looked after.

Very good shop, slightly expensive and some of the workers did not speak any English. I found it very hard to find some products (with no help from the foreign workers) but still a nice place.

The New world is beautiful located near Airport. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The mountain view from parking lot is just amazing. Has nice fresh vegetables and good products and good prize.
