Vintners Retreat

Fabulous place to stay .2 bed 2 bathroom very generous lounge/dining room. A reasonable size patio overlooking the vines. Full kitchen facilities if you want to cook but 2 restaurants just down the Road .comfortable beds and very clean unit with a garage.

I have just spent a fabulous weekend at Vintner Retreat. Its a great location with excellent amenities but the real highlight was their host Kerry who couldn't have been more accommodating or hospitable. She always had a smile on her face and nothing was an issue. I highly recommend you stay here.

Three weeks of traveling at different places it was so nice to be able to stretch out here and have lots of room. Very nice to have a kitchen and laundry as well as a very large living room and bedrooms.

Beautiful Place! After finding ourselves without accommodation we went to Vintners Retreat late on Friday night. We were warmly welcomed and our host Kerry was amazing. Kerry made us feel instantly at home, she was very accommodating and nothing was an issue. Vintners Retreat is a great location for wineries and not to far away from town. Our apartment was warm, cosey & spacious. The view of the vineyard was a highlight.

Dated rooms and furniture. Beds could use new mattresses. Couch in unit 12 was quite uncomfortable. Grounds were a great setting in the midst of the Vineyards and the mountains in the background.

We enjoyed our stay at Vintners Retreat. The location was beautiful. The office was helpful. Meeting all our needs. We had a two room villa with a patio area right up to the vineyards with the mountains in the background. We loved the pool and Josh was a great host.

If you love suburbia I recommend you stay here. Likewise if you like the smell of harsh cleaners. Needless to say it’s not what I expected for $200 a night.Conveniently located to the wineries is the best I can say. Completely overrated and overpriced is my honest review. I will not stay here again, nor will I recommend it to anybody.Added after owner’s response:I did not “select” a house when I booked, I booked on Expedia, and the pictures showed lovely views of vineyards. All we had were views of other houses, exactly what’s in my pictures. If people fancy staying there, good for them and for you. I don’t.I also didn’t sleep on the wrong side of the bed, but I did wake up from traffic on the main road outside this morning. And that was after I wrote my review.

Fabulous accommodation. So good, we stayed put for 24 hours to recharge the batteries. Home from home and the photos do not do it justice. Pure class.

Great five star accommodation .The 2 bedroom Chalets each with an ensuite are perfect for couples.Everything is provided in the kitchen and laundry.Lovely park like grounds with swimming pool and tennis courtBeryl

Kerry was a fabulous host who couldn't do enough for us. We had groceries delivered from Countdown & it wasn't a problem to have them delivered before we arrived.The property had all the amenities we needed for a lovely weekend away, beds were very comfy & some fantastic wineries within walking distance. Just like a home away from home, will definitely be back.
