Kaponga Hotel
Had a crumbd camonbert cheese for an entre and a steak meal for my main. For a pub meal this was fantastic. Great service, nice clean surrounds, a chef who knows how to cook a steak to perfection and beautiful free range eggs with it. The new owners will do extremely well if my first meal is anything to go by. Well done team you have completely satisfied customers.

We would like to thank the Kaponga Hotel for its warm reception and friendly atmosphere.The rooms were very clean, the bed very comfortable, shower and toilet facilities excellent.We appreciated the cold beers and garlic chips (yum).If you are ever in the neighbourhood of Kaponga check out the hotel.

Although Kaponga has very little in the way of amenities or places of interest, it is a great little town with a lovely historic hotel. The hotel has recently been totally refurbished and is nothing like an old musty 19th century hotel / pub. The management was very friendly and we had a great meal. It was a great spot to stay before heading up to Dawson Falls.

Absolutely fantastic and wonderful. Room is emaculate, bathrooms are spotless, location is sublimely out of the way. Totally enjoyable surrounding, great food. The owners are absolute troopers who obviously love what they do, and shows in their friendly service.

Great place for a quiet place to socialise with friends. They even have Tuatara Hazy on tap. You would love to drive just to this place for lunch and a drink with friends. It is so yesteryear. Absolutely a resting place to be in the sun.
