Really tasty pitas, filled well, fresh ingredients, happy friendly staff that were super lovely and chatty with my kids too. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a nice place for our lunch date. We opted for Pita Pit. We were greeted by the most lovely and friendly Elaine. Elaine took our order and asked us to take a seat while our order was being prepared. The wait was not too long and the pita was absolutely divine. It's the best pita we have ever had. Highly recommended.

Food and the store was ok. But the customer service…The girl whose was working taking orders was fine, but the other three working making the food was hopeless. Impolite, zero patience, zero friendly.Looks like they were doing me a giant favor.I know they are young, I know it might be just a summer job. But they were not doing me a favor.

Excellent staff. They will serve the salad in an organised sequence or mix it up(how I prefer). I don't like the boss new rule on serving the salad. I like eating a tossed salad, and the staff were pleased as I am.

Whether stopping in for Sunday lunch on the go or grabbing Pitas for 16 people, Taupō Pita Pit always does a fantastic job!!! Such a relief for our crew who are celiac, as the crew ensures every gf order is as clean as is possible!!!

I wanted to try something different in Taupo so I entered Pita Pit. They had a very interesting selection of flavors & dishes. It is sort of like a subway but for Lebanese food (and it is tastier). I really liked what I ate. Luckily, they also have many vegetarian & vegan options available.

Worst Pita Pit I’ve been to. Ordered online to pick up at 5:35pm it’s now 6pm and order is still not ready and it’s not even busy, shop is basically empty. Ordered wedges with no bacon, heard them say “oh they were no bacon” so I go check and they’re picking the bits of bacon out! Then I say I’d like some fresh ones and then they look at me all offended!!! Can’t believe how bad this experience has been! Final got my order at 6:05 after standing around for an extra half an hour! Just got home and have discovered they didn’t add the sauces! What a joke!!!

Excellent food; Excellent, friendly service; The guy on the the till was fun and welcoming, the woman creating the food was helpful, and the guy on the grill did our wedges to perfection, not soggy, even at the bottom of the bowl. I enjoyed the quirky signage.
