Just wanted to give a great review for Liam. I showed up on Saturday morning to assemble a Oru Beach kayak before purchasing. He took time out of his morning to help me assemble it so I could get an idea of the size. He also went the extra mile to help me get my Kathmandu rewards applied to my account after I paid and forgot to give my details. Thanks again for all the help!

I’ve given this place 5 Stars, and here’s why.Literally, 4.50pm. 10mins before closing on a Saturday night. Knowing that the staff are at that point where they would probably want to close the doors etc and pack it in for the day.They didn’t.I had an emergency regarding my tent poles becoming broken during setting up. And minutes till closing. I raced in and the staff were extremely helpful. They gave advice and illustrated what I could do to repair or fix my issue. And at the end of it all problem fixed. I walked out extremely happy with the customer service by the 2 staff [26Feb2022, 4.50pm]. Thank you to both, I won’t be sleeping in a pyramid tent haha. Thanks heaps.

The staff here are wonderful. One lady saw that my drink bottle was almost empty, so she took it out back and filled up from the cooler, which was so thoughtful.

Nice store with a great range of clothing. I got outdoor trousers, jacket, and hiking shoes.Ayla and Mia were very helpful and polite.

Nice layout. Good stock as well, except for clearance items. They send them all to the outlet stores which are at Wellington and Auckland (a bit far) would have preferred them to keep a couple in store especially during boxing Day sales!
