Come for the coffee - come back for the coffee.Love it.Flat white was perfect, excellent extraction and flavour profile, clearly made by someone who knows what they are doing and loves doing it.Not to be missed.

I ordered 2 takeaway filtered coffees. They were both cold, but I didn’t realize it until I got to the car. Very disappointing. It’s apparent that they don’t care about their product.

Yo! This is exactly what the city of Porirua needs. Proper good coffee and the baked goods is legit. The banana muffins are so damn good. We travel from Tawa for this place. Looking forward to seeing LA expand x

I had a morning appointment in Porirua, so I decided to spend some time working from a cafe and selected Local Authority based on the reviews.It was a pleasant morning, which made the outdoor tables a perfect spot to hang out for a short while. There were a few other people on laptops, so I felt like I was making the right choice.The coffee and scone both came out quickly. I find Flight coffee to be generally quite forward in profile, but I think this was pulled a bit milder. It was pleasant, but not as interesting as I would have expected. The scone is a serious contender, though. Give it a proper toasting instead of a microwave warming and this could be great.
