I pre ordered a taxi and they had very bad service then I noticed they were late and called in to see where it is and my name wasn’t even written down and still continues to tell me I have to wait 1 hour 45 minutes even tho I was already pre booked and prepared for this taxi, they had very bad customer service and was very cranky when I tried to explain that I was already booked and they made a mistake. I even booked the day before I needed to be sure I had a spot as I have somewhere I need to be and they still messed it up. This is very disappointing as yellow has very good reviews and I am a wanaka local and would love to have some more respect when trying to book. As I now have to book with a different company. I would highly recommend not booking with yellow taxi as they have long waits and unreliable service.

GREAT Taxi / Limo company, used 2x. First, Communication - when contacted they respond - Ramash was wonderful in coordinating my Airport departure transfer which was extremely important. Timely - John was right on time when picking me up from my Arrival Richies drop-off at Lakeside.Wayne was early picking me up for the Airport Transfer & VERY helpful with luggage. Both were Professional, Friendly, Safe and Pleasant. Would never hesitate to use in the future.

The local Wanaka taxi service, friendly service by the locals with eftpos available onboard.Pro tip, if and when possible prebook or call early. During peak season it’s crazy busy.

Best taxi service in Wanaka! We called another company asking for a van / a vehicle to transport 5 people & were told they were fully booked. We hadn't even indicated a time or date, so very poor service for those other guys.Called yello!, absolutely no issue to get us at an agreed time. Excellent van and service (text message beforehand confirming they were on the way). We asked if we could book a ride back in a few hours after dinner, set a time and couldn't have been easier. Great chats with both drivers & easy to pay with eftpos. Don't bother with the other Wanaka guys, yello! are the ones to go with!

I Pre booked a taxi for pick up after a beer festival in town . They were efficient at email , very fast at getting back to me and confirming my booking . They also sent me a text minutes before my taxi was meant to pick me up so I knew it was on its way . Great driver , wonderful service would highly recommend these guys

I caught the connection from Tarras to Wānaka and it all went smooth as - Bus was already there when the intercity arrived and I was able to just ask for paying for the service after arriving in Wānaka!The driver was extremely friendly and made the ride enjoyable!

Thank you to everyone at Yello in Wanaka who provided amazing transportation for our wedding. This included bus transport for all the guests and van transport for the wedding party. Excellent with email communication, on time for transportation, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
