The service was great. The wine list and their knowledge of the wine ment I only ever was drinking something I really enjoyed. The tasting trees are a must for anyone visiting. Looking forward to returning next time already.

Such a lovely spot in an idyllic setting in Māpua. An extensive selection of wines, and the lady behind the bar knew her stuff! There was only bar service when we went, maybe due to difficulties finding staff which seemed prevalent with a lot of places at the time. We'd heard the flat bread was really good, but turned out to be the kind yoi could buy from the supermarket which was disappointing. But again, perhaps this was a result of lack of staff? The vibe was ok, some nice outdoor seating. Had the makings of a really great place, but we got the feeling we'd visited when they were sailing half mast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They ensured we were warm in the outdoor seating. I would have loved to see dairy free or vegan options identified on the menu.

We love Rimu Grove Cellar Door!We had a little reunion with the Mahana crew (formerly Woollaston Estates Winery) there on a Sunday afternoon. It is such a casual, warm, and welcoming atmosphere with great pizza and, of course, wonderful wines, beers, and even some spirits to try.I had a rum that was excellent!We even ran into the owners Patrick and Barbara. They are lovely people and make you feel like they are hosting you in their home.100% recommend and will be back!
