GREAT FOOD, FANTASTIC VALUE. Whenever I get anywhere near this place, I always call in for a feed. While the place is often busy, service is quick and with a smile. Chicken and chips just the best. NO better quality or price anywhere. I'm not the only one... my Napierite friend said exactly the same thing. He eats the chicken and chips and always buys a lamb shank to take home.

My 93 Yr old friend loves sweetbreads. What amazing food shop. Took them back to napier. He ate them as soon as I got there. Very delicious he says. We be back for more girlz. Just for him. Lovely staff too.

Got delivered via Uber Eats while in town for holiday. Not the Kools chicken and chips I remember. These were under salted, chicken was average at best. Portion sizes for chips were generous for the price.

One of the best fried chickens around the world. A must visit for anyone staying or visiting Hastings and are into fried chicken. Don't miss out on their sweetbread (do your research as to what this is before you order, it's not bread), get their garlic pottie and their sour cream pottie goes well with their chips too. The whole store keeps rolling out order at a good time, barely have to ever wait for more than 5 minutes.
