Lady Bowen Bed and Breakfast
Lady Bowen is one of the few historical hotels in the area, we were surprised about how old it was and how amazingly everything is kept! The owners were really kind, we spent the evening in the common lounge filled with vintage furniture, chess, a piano and a pool! In the morning we had an excellent homemade breakfast, perfect fuel for the walks starting just 25 mins by car from there. Excellent position if you have to explore the walks in the Kauri forest.

Lady Bowen Bed and Breakfast
The Lady Bowen Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful experience. Hosts Barbara and Stu are very friendly and accommodating. They have retained the historic character of the building with a fine sense of decor appropriate to the time. The wine and cheese welcome in front of the wood fire was followed by a game on a full size billiard table. Breakfast was large and delicious. The garden looked really welcoming and we will be back in summer to enjoy a coffee and breakfast outdoors. All in all it was a ten out of ten place to stay.

Stay one night, great accommodation, good facilities and friendly hosts. Nice home cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay.Rooms were clean and tidy. Spacious.

Thanks so much for making my stay so comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Beautiful room & really comfy bed. Lovely hosts. Loved communal lounge & TV too. Nice vintage style building. amazing hot showers.

Lady Bowen Bed and Breakfast
Had the most wonderful stay at The Lady Bowen. This beautiful heritage gem has been lovingly restored by amazing hosts Barbara and Stu. The rooms are spotless, cozy, spacious and warm. Had a peaceful nights rest and woke up to a lovely home cooked breakfast cooked by the host. Thank you Barbara and Stu for making us feel at home. Look forward to coming back soon :)
