Extremely poor customer service especially from the manager himself. We were sat at the outside area under the umbrella and when it started raining we asked if we could move inside or have the outside covers set up to block the rain - the manager told us it was a lot of work to put the covers down and stated that “it’s just water”.When we asked for tap water rather than the fancy sparkling water bottles they sneakily leave at the table (they cost extra) they get extremely stingy - not filling our glasses to the top, not leaving a pitcher of water on the table and only refilling when we asked.When we requested for the carbonara to have fettuccine instead of spaghetti the waiter said we can’t change the pasta. I just thought this was unusual especially for an ‘authentic’ italian restaurant.Small portions and overpriced. Spend your money elsewhere.

We ordered Alfredo and Tortellini and the top of both dishes were very dry as if it had been reheated or kept warm for a long time. Taste was okay. Wont be returning.

Food was great! Had oysters and the casarecce alfredo. oysters were $5/one which seemed fairly reasonable in my experience, however for almost $30 the pasta dish seemed small (the bowl looks larger than it is). Still i would go back, i just might plan to stop for a snack somewhere on my way. Service was decent, nothing to write home about.

Very beautiful and authentic Italian restaurant. Loved the vibe of this place. Has a very stunning view from the dining area. Very friendly staff! Amazing food. Had chicken fettuccine- really nice flavor. Loved the chicken fettuccine. Would go here on any day for a nice Italian meal!

Absolute joke of a place. Waited 15 minutes for a table. Then waited 40 minutes before the waiter came to take our drinks order. Felt like we were invisible because we kept trying to get the workers attention - then finally a waiter came over and was rude and told us to wait. Finally got our drinks after another 30 minutes, then had to wait another hour and a half for our food. Our gnocchi came out cold, dense and had some random lettuce leaves on it? Also got what was meant to be spinach and ricotta ravioli but was actually pumpkin. When I alerted staff members about this they told me that couldn’t be possible and that it was definitely spinach and ricotta. They brought me another meal because I don’t like pumpkin, which was average at best. When we went up to pay we told the cashier about our disappointment and she didn’t even take any of our food off the bill. She also told us it’s because they were ‘busy’. Once we returned home we were crook in bed, stomachs aching from the undercooked pasta. Will not be returning again, terrible service.

Dine here! You won't regret! I'm SHOCKED that this restaurant has such a low rating due to picky customers not knowing that they are at an authentic Italian restaurant in Viaduct precinct, Auckland waterfront. I have dined here quite a few times with different groups of friends and colleagues and couldn't find any faults in their food and service and the location! I called the day before yesterday to book a table for 14 people just a week before Christmas week, and they have a big table available for us. The staff was very attentive to us and our food. For 14 people with different dishes, food came out super quickly, from starters to mains, drinks were served professionally. We also brought a birthday cake with us with their permission, they offered to put it in the fridge and served it for us later with a small charge of course. Seafood was fresh, cheese and bread was yummy, pasta and risotto was yummy my colleagues finished their main dish like within 5 minutes as they were so scrumptious! Steak was cooked perfectly as requested! Definitely highly recommended and will come back.
