We're not from Timaru but this is our go-to place when passing through. Service is exceptional and the food is outstanding. Always a warm welcome and a lovely family friendly vibe.

Reservation under CalebProfessional, presentable young woman on the floor today. Both young ladies we were served by were extremely polite and well spoken. Our meal arrived quickly and the 300gm Rib eye was cooked to perfection. Nice to see the owner on the floor on a busy Saturday night. Highly recommend. Great food, great service. Well done guys!!

First impressions were very good. Restaurant looked spacious and clean and the service was fast and friendly. The steak when it came was just as ordered. Well done yet not tough. Scallops however were dark brown when they arrived at the table. As suspected they were dry in sore need of the aioli they came with. Having waited nearly 40 mins for the food to come and knowing there was a large table sitting behind us I was reluctant to return the scallops as I didn’t want another long wait. Management were very good and did take money off the bill.If you are wanting scallops do not get them here.Staff assured me this is how they always cook them here and they’ve never had complaints before

Since moving to the South Island March '22, we go to a different cafe/ restaurant every Sunday, and Benny's again is in the top 3 places we have eaten thus far.P.sMost places we eat are let down by the very young staff that have no people skills and simply don't want to be there. Hire some mature staff. It will do wonders for your clientele you attract.

My family had a delicious dinner,staff were lovely our dessert was amazing very good cheese cake and apple crumble.Will definitely be great, to dine here again when I visit Timaru another time.

Chicken parcel was very average, but nachos were good.Quite cold in the restaurant i have to say. Loved that the staff didnt interrupt meals to ask if everything was fine.

Benny's Again Restaurant
This restaurant was an unexpected visit. But I am happy that it happened in that way. A brilliant choice. Food was tasty, atmosphere was great and customer service was good. Portion was fair and pricing was not that expensive either. So nothing u can complain there. We had a lunch there. We both were really satisfied of everything. So, yes definitely worth considering here for a dine in.
