1st Call Recruitment

I’ve been with 1st Call Recruitment for a year now and it has been an awesome experience! I’m currently a uni student and they were able to find me a part time job that would suit my schedule while studying. Cara and Aleisha are awesome who would always let me know if there’s a job waiting for me! They have also sussed me a job during this summer holiday! Thank you guys a lot!

I have just started a job through Kelsey at the Hamilton Branch. It was an absolute joy going through the process with her. Cannot recommend them enough. Absolutely love the job so a big Thankyou to them.

I have worked with 1st Call for a long time and they have always given me work as soon as I ask. 1st Call Tauranga are a top team.They are kind and are alwawilling to help me find work at a drop of a hat. I have a lovely relationship with Cara who patient and help me whenever I ask.They're awesome!!

Useless. Took over a week to get signed up. Wouldn't have happened if I had not being persistent and patient. Nearly another 2 weeks later and still no delivery. They have offered me jobs, made me think I was about to start work, but then nothing happens. They hardly keep up with communication or follow through with what they say which is an obvious red flag. Even when you apply for positions on there website, the jobs you put through stay in process for over a week, sometimes longer. Unreliable, giving out false hope then waste your time. Yet have these high expectations of you. I have tried 1st Call more then once with little results. This time round I grew tired of being mucked around so rung another recruitment agency. They asked me to come in that same day, then I got a phone call two days later and have been at work since. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I couldn't get a job after graduation for 3 month. But I've got a job right after I met Cara at Tauranga branch. She introduced good job for me. I really appreciate her.

poor customer services and unorganized company. they can not communicate clearly what is required for potential candidates therefore you loose out on jobs that the employer would of been happy to take that person on if they had received their C.V!. my advise dont bother using these rude inexperienced staff and just contact the company directly as you will atleast be able to send your C.V in for the employer to judge not some people who have no idea what they are doing.This company is an excuse to jump on the money wagon and claim they are a recruitment agency.BEAWARE some of the previous comments are employees 1st recruitment or use to be hence the positive fake feedback

I started with 1st call recruitment in Tauranga in I believe March 2019, I was looking for jobs online and saw an ad for a traffic controller, no experience, my 1st job and thought I'd apply anyways. Aleisha from 1st call reached out to me, put me through with my TC course within 2 days, I had a job lined up for me as soon as I finished my course and was working the next day. I was given PPE gear fast to, such a friendly company, filled with lovely staff. I have heard a lot of bad things in regards to recruitment agency's, but I have never had a problem with 1st call. Fast responses, kind people and I have work from them every day, if there isn't traffic control work they go out of there way to see if there is something else I would like to do so I'm not missing out on work. Definetly value and appreciate this company and I can not recommend this enough, big thankyou to Aleisha from 1st call Tauranga for getting me into an industry that I absolutely love. Definetly reccomend this company 100%.

HAMILTON Receptionist was rude. Travelled from huntly with my infant and partner as they had appointments within Hamilton so to save gas. My child wasn't very nosey at all but door was slammed and we were told to keep her quiet, it was a hot day so sitting in the car was not an option. Upon trying to sign up 3 times, she tells me in front of others they can't take me because of my criminal history well over 9 years ago. No people skills this particular lady. Rather glad I dont have to deal with her in the future.

It was the first time for me to visit any recruitment centreThe staff made me feel very much at home. I dealt with Cara who explained how everything worked in an agency and put my mind at rest.My career needs where pretty specificBut within half an hourI walked out of there with a job, uniform and the knowledge that they had my back and they did.Very happy with 1st callWould highly recommend them.

I was looking for job in Tauranga in August and 1st call found me various offers very quickly! I was really satisfied.Then I came back in october and I was working only 2 days/week.... very disappointed!! I had to look for another job myself since they even stopped answering to my messages.
