I have just experienced the most bizarre and unpleasant conversation with someone called Greg, at this gas fitting and plumbing address.It is a long time since I have experienced such rudeness and weird behaviour . (it should be noted that I am many years past retirement age so have had a few years on this planet.)I phoned this firm yesterday to see if someone could call to my house to see if they could give a quote on setting up a new gas fitting.Greg promised to call in yesterday afternoon, then cancelled.He told us he would be up today between 9-10am, when he didn’t arrive I phoned simply to ask whether he was still coming.He then started to rant and rave about me expecting him to come, to give a quote on something that may provide him less that $500 and that I was expecting him to perform like a trained monkey, because I was unreasonably asking him to be able to give me a vague time he may call.Was he expecting me to stay in all day every day for the next month?All I wanted was for him to say, sorry can’t come this morning, I will phone you when I have a spare moment to call and give a quote. (as most tradesmen do)I hung up on him in the end because his manner was one of someone totally irrational. My husband could hear his rant from the next room, we are still reeling here from his most unexpected outburst of anger. I would stay away from this firm if you are expecting to converse with someone who fits into the norm. when trying to find a competent tradesman.
