One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend this activity with Canyonz. The scenery is beautiful and the canyoning itself is heaps of fun and gets the adrenaline pumping. Russ is very safety conscious and I felt very safe the entire time. If you've never done it before, you need to call Canyonz right now!!!!! I will be doing it again but will take my teenage daughters next time.

Can’t recommend these guys highly enough, we did the full day adventure and had a blast! The guides Wayne and Trif were amazing and extremely competent that you always felt completely safe - even when abseiling down waterfalls. It was challenging in all the best ways. Attentive guides - Wayne and Sara that made an intense experience fun. Challenging, but rewarding for those with a fear of heights. With the Canyonz abseiling tour, you will access unique and magical views of large waterfalls in Kauaeranga Valley. Recommend being honest about your fitness level and abilities to keep everyone safe as you will need strength, energy, and focus throughout the day. Do the Sleeping God tour if you can!

The Full Day Sleeping God Canyon adventure is quite simply -awesome.Our guides Wayne & Anna were perfect - at no time did we feel unsafe, even if the fun was bordering on Type II for some of us :)The abseiling, views, lunch and cliff jumps had us raving about it for days & I couldn't recommend it more if you're looking for the next big challenge!

A must do in NZ! Cliff jumping, rappelling, zip lining - all within a crazy canyon with tons of amazing waterfalls. Crew is super knowledgable and will keep you safe. Definitely need to be athletic.

Highlight of our trip. I would not have guessed just how much hiking would be involved from the website, so be prepared, though luckily no gear is needed. The adventuring down the waterfalls was exhilarating and Wayne was an excellent guide.

Despite the EXTREME nature of this trip, we never once felt unsafe in the expert hands of Wayne, Anna and Trife. An awesome day spent in a spectacular canyon abseiling down some mammoth waterfalls and throwing ourselves off some huge ledges!! It was a seriously adrenaline filled day.....all day!! The bbq at the end of the day was a lovely finish to the trip. Highly recommended and well worth the price. Thanks again folks for a fab day.

People listen to me: BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!This was our first Canyoning and I can tell you guys that it was the most amazing thing one can experience in the magical place that is New Zealand. The connection with nature, the adrenaline and the overwhelming location makes you forget the mundane world and just enjoy being alive.We were lucky to have Bree and Kayla joining Wayne and Anna as our guides and making sure we were crazy but ALWAYS safe!It was the most amazing experience we had in our 3 weeks vacation.Thank you so much guys!Joana
