Love the food options here! Their 2 for one each weekend is great. The only things to work on would be, better coffee and faster service.

My partner and I have regularly enjoyed the 2 for 1 weekend brunch specials for over the last year or so. These specials have been great value until just recently and such good value I hate to complain, however today’s experience and the previous one have left us underwhelmed. 2 weeks ago Cajun chicken salad was okay but no where as good as previously served. Today. Eggs Benedict with way over cooked eggs stewed bacon and almost zero Pork Belly. Yes I know we are in for a bargain brunch and believe have realistic expectations. These offers that once almost too good to be true now disappoint. My partner does not want to go back and I wont be doing the specials again.The cafe responded need to the feedback and have taken comments on board and advise they will make changes to ensure they deliver at a good consistent standard. They even gave us a $20 credit to use and n the cafe. Can’t ask for more than that. Will definitely give these guys another shot. Thanks

Delicious food and good coffee too. Service is great and they have a nice selection of sweet treats. Lose a star for having no baby change table (consider installing one in the disabled toilet) and for the place being super loud so even having a conversation with the person next to you can be hard (I’m guessing because there is a lot of tiling - harder to fix unfortunately).

Good coffee, great place to go with friends - indoor and outdoor seating. A little more pricey than some other coffee places that are close by but it's worth it, Mavis is far superior.

Been there twice.. service is good.. could be so much better organized and thus return a better GP and customer experience. Coffee ok.. most coffee in the UK is now served in mugs.. glasses stopped years ago.. also most UK places are serving single shots as they have found the customer likes a mild coffee rather than the old challenge that the stronger the better... but each to thier own.... will keep trying.. looking forward to trying the food

This review is for Diesel coffee. Tried looking for exclusive Diesel coffee reviews, but couldn't find it, so I found this cafe, and admittedly i've never been there, but here's one for your excellent coffee.It was heavenly, one of the best that I've ever made at home. Starts with strong bold flavor, with just enough acidity to open up my eyes with 2 match sticks between the lids. In the middle, it was dark, black espresso with tendency for long shot. After taste was where it kick start your day. Subtle fruity and nutty flavour that linger at the back of your mouth. Up there, and maybe beyond, compared to Supreme or Allpress.Really, I can't wait to make up reasons for my next glass of your sweet, tasty, bold coffee.

Poor customer service. Didn’t get greeted when we went in and was stared at in silence as we looked at the cabinet. Staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. One girl was sat on her phone, eating at the coffee machine. Another just stood at the counter and just stared around the room. A shame because it is a nice spot, but I felt so unwelcome because of the staff.
