Abel Tasman Canyons

Did this over New Years and had the BEST time. You have a part of the Abel Tasman park completely to yourself and see a part of it that no one else gets to. It’s beautiful, it’s fun, and we had a blast. Oscar and Dan were great hosts, reading the abilities of the group and balancing safety and adventure perfectly. We did it by meeting the guys at Anchorage Bay halfway through our walk. Great value for money and highly recommend!

We booked the trip to Torrent River - it was a blast! Not just the time spent in the canyon, but the journey to Anchorage by water taxi and the hike to the canyon are spectacular and well worth it. Just make sure to wear shoes that you’re ok with getting entirely wet and that have a really good grip, since you’ll be wearing your own shoes throughout the entire trip.

Very well organized; from the beginning Liv and Danelle kept us all well informer gave us a lot of info about safety etc; on the walk up they also shared some interesting facts about park; once we got to top of the canyon they gave very c and helpful instructions what to do and were able to push our limits so we can experience it to the fullest! It was such a fun day of abseiling, zip-lining, jumping sliding through the river! Totally recommend it!

We did the tour mid october 2022.Was really great, our guide Eliot took good care of us and he will make sure you feel at ease the whole tour.It starts with a small boat trip where you'll see sea lions, than a hike uphill (+- 1h). You'll have lunch and than the adventure starts.The views and canyon is amazing. And there are some really thrilling parts at the canyon. Must do activity when in Abel Tasman and probably one of the best canyonings in New-Zealand!

I did the Torrent River canyoning trip a few days ago & had such an amazing time sliding, abseiling, jumping off rocks & zip lining down the river in the most scenic location, surrounded by huge moss-covered walls. Toine & Leo did an absolutely fantastic job of making sure everyone was safe & everyone had a fun time. Thanks so much guys! Awesome stuff!

What a great experience we had with Abel Tasman Canyons!The canyon itself was absolutely gorgeous and we got to jump, slide and upsail through it. What else can you ask for?I am a somewhat experienced canyoneer and the canyon was not very challenging, but the beauty of it was enough for me to completely enjoy the experience. In any case, the crew made sure that even the first timers had a fun and safe experience.To top it off, our guides took some amazing photos and videos which were included in the price.

Did the tour a few weeks ago, it was so much fun and definitely a big highlight of our south island road trip!!My partner loved it so much he even got some canyoning merchandise after :D

We had the most amazing time canyoning with Abel Tasman Canyons on Friday. Our guide Leo was super fun, friendly and obviously loves what he does which is totally infectious.The whole experience from the booking process to being dropped off by water taxi at the end of the day was fantastic and well organised - we were well looked after from start to finish.The canyoning itself was so beautiful and there were varied activities throughout. 3 hours felt like it went by in 10 minutes and we smiled, laughed and cheered the whole time.We would genuinely go back and do it all over again next time we visit.Thank you to Leo and all the team, until next time! :)

Canyoning with Abel Tasman Canyons was one of the best adventure activities I have ever done in NZ. It challenged me but I felt completely safe under Danelle and Erwan's expert supervision. Such a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Epic adventure! These guys are the best. An amazing day full of adventure in pristine nature. Tough and long but absolutely worth it. There is nothing like this and I have tried so many activities in New Zealand for many years. Second canyoning with them and loved every moment. Brought some friends along and they had the best time! Our guides Toine and Zeb were amazing and provided options for everyone. Very safe but full of adrenaline. Can't recommend it enough!
