Nice and very authentic french cafe. Had the salmon galettes with goat cheese and fresh spinach which was super delicious. Good flat white as well. Food presentation could be a bit nicer but taste makes up for it. Would definitely recommend.

I recently visited So French Café in Devonport and had a truly delightful experience. The highlight of my meal was the bacon and brie gallette, which was packed full of flavor and cooked to perfection. While the presentation could have been a bit better, it certainly didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the dish.Following the gallette, I had the delicate crepe which was absolutely excellent. It was light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. The service at So French Café was also spot on. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience.Overall, I would highly recommend So French Café to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic French meal in Devonport. The food was top-notch, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I can't wait to go back and try more of the delicious dishes on offer!

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff! The salmon omelette was so fluffy and flavorful, while my partner loved the ham and cheese omelette and praline latte.

We had an adequate experience. The food is generally ok however the french fries, despite being well fried, are shaken with too much salt. Crepes are served quickly however our burger took quite a long time to arrive. The staff are very friendly however are too keen to clear our plates and cutlery even though we have more food coming. We said we want our water jug to be refilled which was acknowledged but never arrive.

This is a special place to enjoy a delicious French-style galette.It's so high quality.They also have a good selection of pastries, so I recommend using them as a café.They have a wide range of menus, and I think you will enjoy any style.

First time trying here after seeing the good reviews. We ordered 2 coffees, almond crossiant from the cabinet, beef bourguignon and the galette. The crossiant was not toasted nor does it have the puffy texture and softness inside. The taste was strong in pistachio, which wasnt bad but it was little disappointing. Their galette tasted ok, good presentation but I think is not so authentic as the crust is not crispy at all. The beef bourguignon was their most expensive option for almost $30. But it tasted pretty average, beef was not tender and spaghetti was just ok and portion was small. I can probably get 2 big bowl of beef brisket from chinese restaurant that tasted more tender, juicier and fatty than this one for the price of this dish. Their coffee was quite good, strong but to my liking. Nice ambiance, staff was friendly but probably wont be back for the food though.

Excellent crepe, galette, and coffee. Friendly service. Easy walk from ferry. We will certainly be back whenever we return to Devonport!

By far the best cafe in Devonport! The food was incredible, and the crepes and iced coffees were by far the best we have ever had! The pastries were fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was modern with a rustic touch. The decor was beautiful, but I would suggest a small cushioned chair or sofa somewhere to make it a little cosier and fill in some empty space. The service was quick, friendly and the waitress was super Freud lay and bubbly, putting a big mile on our faces! The food is also amazing value, and we didn’t leave regretting anything at all! 10/10 would recommend to everyone in the Devonport area or anyone stopping by!

Had lunch with my friend at this cafe yesterday, and with a sunny day the atmosphere of the cafe was really really good. We chose to dine outside, ordered two crepes and a cordon bleau, crepes were delicious!! But for cordon bleau we loved the fries more than the chicken itself (but still yum though) ☺️☺️ The customer service was really good too. A lovely lady offered to take photo for us and the other staffs were in general also very friendly towards customers. ❤️❤️ Last but not least, they do also have everyday fresh bake pastries that we took away!! Would definitely visit again someday because of the happy experience, thank you.
