Matakana Motel
We stayed in studio 8, it was a beautiful clean room with everything we needed including Robert Harris coffee. The whole motel is well presented and down quite a long driveway so no road noise. The staff are lovely and friendly. Close walking distance to the township. Looking forward to coming back when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the pool. Couldn’t fault anything with this stay, thanks Matakana Motel! ☺️

If you are staying in matakana, this is the best place. Rooms are huge, they are clean, the look good. Having acsess to a pool and a gym is good. And it's just in the center of Matakana. The only downside is that you have have thick wallet to stay here.

Good, clean and tidy. Easy parking. Pool looked nice, unfortunately it was raining when we were there so didn’t get to try it out. Beds were comfortable. Cooking was available in the unit we were in. All round nice place. Nothing bad can be said. Will most likely stay here again on our next visit.

Great motel overall, was clean and spacious with a nice modern bathroom. Also liked that it had a pool, tramp and small playground for kids however we didn't get to use them as it was raining majority of the weekend. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was due to a random hour or so of brown water coming out of all the taps and shower but otherwise was a great stay.

Awesome stay, Miro was so welcoming, friendly and polite, the rooms were spacious super clean and had modern bathrooms. Would definitely recommend.

A motel right in the heart of town and it's more a hotel than a motel. The rooms are large, the beds very comfortable, a small kitchenette and lounge. The bathrooms are super spacious and separate rooms for kids + air con. 5 Minute walk to all the great market places, cafes and town heart.A pool area outside, a gym, a playground and a giant trampoline. I feel like no luxury has been spared for a motel.Disabled access and parking facilities too.

We had a large group stay at Matakana Motel. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bianca, Miro and the ladies who work there were very obliging and we all had a wonderful experience here. We would recommend this as a destination without hesitation.

Didn't have a reservation but was not issue getting us sorted for the night.Was offered 2 room types and opted for one of the new rooms.This is one of the best rooms we have stayed in. It was large, well set up and as comfortable as being at home.The shower was amazing and great after a swim in the pool.Great location to access the village.Can't wait to come back and stay again.
