Big size, value for money and good taste. Ordered fried rice and enough for 2. The seafood noodle soup also good. Will try other dishes.

The decor is not amazing, but the service and food more than makes up for it. The south city tofu Is so incredibly tasty, It's a must have dish!. The owners are very accommodating and extremely polite. Give it a try, I wasn't disappointed

I tried many new things on my visit here and was pleasantly surprised. To those who haven’t tried, you needa have the tripe. Looks and sounds strange, tastes amazing. This is a great place to eat. The service was excellent & the food well priced. We were made very welcome. For large family gatherings, it is important to book in advance. & Kids are not a problem, even if your youngest is only 1 year old. Thank you!!

Good service. Plenty of food so bring an empty stomach and expect to take leftovers home. Good value for money. Very tasty oh and its BYO!

Went with my Mum and 2 nephews for lunch. Looks really nice inside etc. There was a Chinese man eating a bowl of chicken bones(he was the chef ). The waitress was pleasantly nice but could not speak English well at all. Ordered a Chicken and Soul Fish Fried Rice($13 Large loads of rice, very little pieces of chicken and fish,loads of sesame oil with classic mixed frozen carrots and peas from a cheap 1kg ). And a Medium Chicken Mushroom Vegetables on Rice. Well the Fried Rice was served in 5 minutes and we all ate that in 10 minutes(no service ). Then went to pay as we waited to long for the last dish ($10). So we waited another 5 minutes for the last dish. So took home for dinner and it was : Little chicken bones, fine diced 1 mushroom, 2 little pieces of broccoli and cauliflower, and again masses of rice! This was the most disappointing Chinese meal I have ever eaten and will never go back there, or recommend anyone to dine(at your own risk!).

Tried this Chinese Restaurant for the first time, the salted fish and chicken fried rice was good. Tasty and o love the smokey flavour. Seafood Noodle Soup also could warm up you body in wintery.

We decided to come here for a family lunch on Sunday because of a previous social lunch few months back. The rice dish is basically that, big portion of rice with smaller portion of vegetables and meat. There was not a trace of lemon in lemon chicken, which looked more like sweet and sour. Fried noodles wasn't tasty or attractive either. Sweet and sour pork was ok. The only great dish was the fried hor fun. All in all, we were very disappointed with the service too as it took over 40 minutes to serve our first dish. There was another table of young couple who got their food before us, even though they came in more than 30 minutes after we placed our order. If you are after fast service, try other places nearby.

We often go there when our friends want yum cha. Personally we love fresh Tofu, very soft, delicate taste which we don't get anywhere in Dunedin. Service can be slow sometimes when especially people on tour are there having lunch, but overall okay. We ordered Long bean dishes as well as noodles and both are nice.

It is an amazing place that serves good Chinese food. I was blown away with the quality and also the price of the foodThe service is good as well. This restaurant used to be the very popular Shanghai Restaurant but it changed hands 6 months ago as we found out last week. They still serve their famous friend eggy tofu. The place looked tired and needs a little spruce up. There were only two people in the restaurant, to what looks like the wife in the till, taking orders and the husband cooking and cleaning up. I wonder what it would be like if there were more customer. There weren't a lot of people when we had dinner but we waited for a considerable amount of time before we got our food. I won't to dining at this place but will surely take away the tofu.
